I had a ceramic one, and it broke about a month after I had it. I decided on a plastic one, and this looks just as pretty as the ceramic one, and it won't break. I also like the lotus flower engraving. I figured it won't leak plastic as I am not putting any hot or abrasive things into it. Essential oils would have to be extremely diluted for nasal cleansing if those are added, so I figure the plastic should be fine without leaking into my system. Maybe when I can be more able on the use and storage of a neti pot, I'll go back to the ceramic. Practice makes perfect.

It is very light purple in color. It is a nice size for travel and I won't forget it since it is in my travel bag already. I purchased one for a male friend too.

Works great, good price, too. I didn't want to get a ceramic one, for fear it could break, but this plastic one is light and easy to use.
I won't recommend using this seller, I have been trying to return this product and am being ignored, I can't get a reply from either Walmart or this seller. Next step is to stop payment.
