Perfect for a bedroom or office. No subwoofer, so not really made for a theater room or family room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Hisense Sound bar 60 watt. I was pleasantly surprised how easy the set up was and the necessary cords were included. There are options based on what you are watching that you can change the mode to Movie or Gaming for better listening and quality of sound. The remote included the batteries. I was able to plug in and use in less than 5 minutes. I was also able to connect to my Fire TV and program with my responsive device to command sound bar to turn off and on. The quality of sound is great and I am very pleased with this sound bar. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.
Hi, I ordered this item and when I received it, it was bigger than it looked. I thought I was purchasing something small, but when I received it, it was really huge. It was almost the size of my actual television.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Up until i got the hi sense HS205 2.0 Ch Soundbar i couldnt hear squat on my jvc roku flat screen. the sound bar came packed in wrap, all pieces in the box; It was quite easy to set up, my tv has 3 hdmi ports so the soundbar is in #1 slot. I am very happy with having it to help me HEAR tv shows and news programs again . Normally i set my tv on 50 just to hear the news but now its set on 21. which is a decent level. I am very happy with it.. Disclaimer- I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for providing my honest opinion about it.
All I can say is WOW! This sound bar is amazing, especially for the money. I highly recommend. I have two Polk sound bars and this Hisense puts them to shame.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this approx 2 weeks ago because my husband has a hard time hearing the Roku and this was made to interface with Roku TVs. Hooked it up easily, but discovered that when you set the soundbar in front of the TV, it blocks the signal from the Roku remote. When we set it behind the tv, the soundbar remote would not work because the TV blocked it. So my husband had to build a riser for the tv in order for it to work. Wanted others to be aware if you plan on setting this on a flat surface with your TV. Also, do not hook up both the optical cable and the HDMI cable to an older Roku set. This will cause the Roku to get confused and then the TV does not work. We had this happen and had to unplug and reset the TV. Use one or the other, but not both if your set is an older model. Other than these minor issues, the sound is great! I love that you van just plug a USB flashdrive in and play music off of it and it sounds like a home stereo. We had no issues whatsoever hooking it to our phones via bluetooth to stream Pandora. The sound quality is amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having just gotten a new Hisense 55" TV, this was a great pairing. A new sound bar to go with the new TV. Since Hisense made both, pairing them and getting them to work together was a snap and setup was a breeze. The TV has good sound, but this up's the game to an almost theater sound. It needs a little more bass to be real theater quality, but for the price, you can't really go wrong in your living room. It's easy to setup, and sounds good with the TV (or probably any TV I imagine). I received this product at a discount for my honest review and feedback of the product.
not bad but not very loud would depend on the situation. gave it to my father-in-law and it was about the same volume as the tv but the difference was the sound was clearer with this than the tv alone
I have a Sharp TV made by Hisense and it was plug and play. Very easy set up and works flawlessly. Came with an HDMI cable that was nice. Sounds good, not as loud as I would like thats why 4 stars but what do you expect for the price point.
Bought this to improve the low volume levels on a ROKU Hisense 55 inch. Seems to be an issue with the TV's. Some channels the sound is so low you have to be up to 70 in order to hear anything. Other channels are blasting at 20. Although this is very easy to set up, the volume was worse. Had to be up to 100 to be able to hear channels that were fine at 30 without it. Returned it, Would not recommend to solve a low volume issue with Hisense tv.
