We recieved our Hisense sound bar. Two simple pieces: sound bar and subwoofer. Although they are simple pieces they excel beyond what I thought. The setup tooks minutes, and the sound quality is very good!
very good product
Great sound! Easy install
The sound bar is excellent! However, this is my third order from Walmart and every delivery has been horrible! The interior package for the sound bar is exceptional. That is the only reason it survived the delivery. Our last delivery, a backware set, was poorly packed by Walmart and was delivered as a box of glass shards, which I had to sweep up and then take back to a Walmart. One other delivery, a microwave just did not arrive -- it disappeared, finally arriving long after I had purchased a different microwave. Please, Walmart, up your game if you want to compete with Amazon! Watch them and learn!
Purchased to improve sound for 65 inch Philips Roku TV. It arrived timely. Was easy to install and pair to tv. You do need to check settings on audio on TV to make sure it is set correctly. There are video on YouTube for this. No major complaints as to quality of regular sound. It is improvement over tv speakers. The sub woofer does appear weaker from what I would have wanted but it does work ok. You can test it via speaker Bass test with some Youtube video for effect. It does come with a HDMI cable for using ARC. One review suggested getting a new 2.1 HDMI cable and use it to see if sound improved. For newer TV use ARC if available on your TV and not optical cable.
Was easy to set up with my Roku TV. The key was to set the TV audio to passthrough mode . The soundbar is able to produce good sound in a moderate sized room and the subwoofer can put out good bass without distortion. Definitely not a full scale theater system, but a good alternative for a great price (around $150) at Walmart. Was only available at one Walmart a few miles away, but well worth the drive.
Better than onboard speakers but not great. Dolby Atmos support is in name only none of the spatial effect are noticeable. I'd probably opt for more expensive options in the future especially for the large room I'm using this in.
I purchased my HS312 together with a Hisense 75U7G TV because they were supposed to be compatible. I had my own HDMI 2.1 cables that I purchased because I didn't know what kind of cable the sound bar came with. I connected the cable to the TV and sound bar eARC ports. I followed the instructions to make sure it worked, and at first, it did work for all of 10 minutes. After 10 minutes streaming a show, the sound bar got stuck in a loop of sound. I tried turning it off with the remote. No luck. I tried the power button on the sound bar. No luck. I had to unplug the power cable to shut it down. I turned it back on and tried again. Same thing happened. I tried changing every sound setting that could be changed, and nothing worked. The same thing would happen, but now it happened after about a minute of audio. Eventually there was no sound coming out of the sound bar using eARC settings. I switch off the eARC, and put it in ARC mode. It worked for a minute, and the loop audio issue appeared again. I tried everything. I connected another HDMI 2.1 cable. Nothing worked. I tried for two days to get it to work before I gave up and decided to return it for an exchange. I got my replacement. It works. eARC works for 45 minutes, then the audio mutes for 10 seconds and then comes back on. It's annoying, but not enough for me to return it for another one. I gave up on eARC mode. On ARC mode there are no issues. I just think the sound is richer in eARC mode. That's my review. The sound bar sounds great, but it has that annoying issue among a couple of others that have to do with how the sound bar behaves with the TV. I can live with it.
This sound bar was difficult to connect to the 75" Hisense TV I bought at the same time. Even with sound turned up, the volume is not there. The bass is non-existent. The instructions are lacking. You can only use the e-ARC connection if you want the volume to go up and down using the TV remote control.
With all the speakers this should have been a great soundbar. Not at all. The subwoofer only whimpers. The soundbar speakers were not much better. HDMI ARC did not work, so went with the optical cable. The remote is very cheap looking and feels cheap. Very disappointed with Hisense.
