Let’s start with a quick round up. This is the best all-round TV. Hands down. Movies, gaming, sports... it’ll handle anything you can throw at it and look great doing it (try not to actually throw stuff, it’s just a figure of speech). No surprise when it’s got 4K resolution, Quantum Dot Color, Dolby Vision HDR, 120Hz native panel, Full Array Local Dimming Zones, anti-glare panel and powerful 1,500 nit peak brightness. What does all that mean? It’s like gazing at the sun melting into the Mediterranean Sea from Ibiza’s coolest bars. But sitting on your couch. At home. Then for gaming, we added Variable Refresh rate, Auto Low Latency Mode and FreeSync Premium to make the most of the latest generation gaming platforms. Even if you don’t know what half this stuff means, one look at the picture and you’ll want it.

4K ULED™- Like 4K great, but better. The U8G has our exclusive ULED technologies. They boost color, contrast, brightness, motion… we could go on. It’s the TV your old TV wants to be. Game Mode Pro- All the most advanced gaming tech, all in this TV. HDMI 2.1 inputs recognize gaming sequences to automatically adjust settings for smooth, uninterrupted play. The automatic low-latency mode (ALLM), variable refresh rate (VRR) and Free-Sync minimize input lag, screen jitter, and frame tearing. So your gaming looks sick even if you suck. Quantum Dot Wide Color Gamut- See over one billion shades. Quantum Dot produces purer, richer, more brilliant and accurate colors than a regular LED TV. We could get into how it works. But it’s a lot easier to say it makes every day look like the 4th of July. Ultra Motion and 120Hz Native refresh rate- Ultra Motion removes the digital ‘noise’ that can affect moving objects. Whether it’s a bird, a plane or the man of steel, everything you see is exceptionally clear. Blurred lines? Not on this TV, the 120Hz native refresh rate means smoother gaming with pictures that keep up with your play. Dolby Vision™ & Dolby Atmos®- Dolby Vision HDR picture and Dolby Atmos sound are cinema technology for your home. They provide amazing realism you can see and hear in every scene. IMAX Enhanced- IMAX Enhanced brings the cinema experience home. It combines digitally remastered 4K HDR content and DTS audio technologies with the best consumer products and streaming platforms. Built for people who want a more premier, at-home experience. Peak Brightness/Full Array Local Dimming Zones- Let’s start with the science. Screen brightness is measured in nits. One nit is the same brightness as one candle. So the higher the nit rating, the brighter the screen. The average TV is 250-350 nits. Anything over 500 nits is extremely good. This is up to 1,500 nits peak brightness across 360 local dimming zones. You get the picture. A picture that’s brighter and perfectly lit in any light condition. Hands Free Voice Control- Put down the remote. Change the channel, find the latest movie, stream your favorite video and more with your voice. The quicker, easier way to find whatever you want to watch. Voice Remote- The backlit voice control makes controlling your TV easier. Open apps, turn the volume up or down, search for your favorite shows. And if the actual remote goes missing, use the buttons on the TV to activate ‘Find My Remote’. Five bucks says it’s down the back of the couch. Google Assistant- The Google Assistant* is built into Android TV. Tell it to turn on the lights, change the thermostat, add stuff to your grocery list, or just play that video of your friend falling over for the millionth time. And with universal search, you can even get recommendations with Android TV. OTHER FEATURES- Noise Reduction, Parental Control, Closed Caption, Sleep Timer, Google Assistant, Chromecast Built-In, Web Browser, Hands Free Voice Control(On/Off Privacy Switch), Remote Finder Works with Alexa: The U8G works with Alexa through any of your Alexa-enabled devices. Just ask Alexa to switch the TV on or off, change channels and lots more. *What's included: Power Cord, User Manual, Quick Start Guide, Voice Remote Control and Stand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is the perfect balance of high quality features and a reasonable price. Prior to this TV I had previously purchased lower end TVs as I had assumed that there wouldn't be a appreciable difference between various levels of TVs. I decided on this Hisense to complement my new Xbox Series X as I wanted to try out 120hz gaming. I was wrong, this TV blows all my previous TVs out of the water. The picture is sharp, the extra dimming zones allow for deep blacks with almost no blooming. The TV gets extremely bright compared to my previous LCD. Watching movies or gaming on this TV is something to behold. Whenever I have visitors over they are always asking about the TV. The android interface has been great so far. Very responsive, easy to use, and easy to customize. The in-built apps work great for streaming. I can't believe how much value this TV brings. I'm so happy I decided to give this Hisense a try. I am now a believer that there are other brands out there that can compete with the big three. The TV was packaged well, easy to unbox and get setup by myself. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Hisense 65” U8G Quantum ULED TV is the real deal. This is my first experience with a Hisense TV and I am truly impressed. I have another top of the line brand QLED (Q80R) that I use in my living room and I have loved for the last two years. That TV is primarily for watching Bravo and HGTV (according to my wife). So when I got the new Xbox Series X, I knew I needed to upgrade to a better TV in my media room. I didn't want to spend as much as I previously spent on a the Q80R, so I started looking at alternative options and stumbled upon this Hisense. This TV is on par with my Q80R as far as brightness, color, and black levels. It is simply stunning to look at. If you have not experienced one of these higher end TVs, you have no idea of what you are missing with regard to the picture quality and black levels. The screen does a good job of reducing reflections from the big windows that sit on the opposite wall of the TV and the brightness (wholly cow is it bright) helps even more. I have no issues playing games or watching movies during the day. Of course, if you are using one of the next generation video game consoles, this has pretty much everything you need with the 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 120hz gaming, VRR, and high quality HDR. I hooked my xbox directly to one of the HDMI 2.1 ports and then used another cable to my eARC compatible soundbar, which allowed me to passthrough Dolby Atmos to my soundbar. I even tested a few older xbox games with FPS Boost and HDR and it was very impressive. Makes me want to go back and experience some of these games again. I have not experienced any ghosting issues as some other reviews have reported. Last thing. The TV was packaged well and easy to unbox and put together. I was able to do everything myself. I am now recommending this TV to some family members that have also been looking to upgrade. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
Excellent shipping. I was nervous that something so fragile would be dented or scratch but it arrived in perfect condition. This tv is the perfect size for our 48" tv stand
We have had this tv for about 3 weeks. It replaced a 6 yr old 60" Samsung LED tv that was having issues. The Hisense handles glare much better, has an amazing picture and a wide viewing angle. The best value out there. Android TV works much better than the Samsung's or Vizio's streaming software. I don't use the tv for gaming so can't comment on that, but for streaming or cable it is awesome.
Setup was extremely easy. Calibration was like wise. The picture is outstanding and colors really pop. This TV replaced my LG 65 OLED A after 4 yrs acquired Burn-in. The blacks are rich and good enough to keep me happy. The brightness of this TV out preforms any OLED and most top of the line LED TV's
I'm not a huge TV person but this one looks amazing. Watching high quality nature shows really shows off this tv's detail and color. Highly recommend it.
I received this TV to review and all I can say is WOW. It does exactly what we need it to do for our family, navigating thru apps without any lagging or freezing -- our old Samsung smart tv did that. The TV is light and easy to mount, set-up was super quick, and it's so easy to navigate. Gotta love the chrome cast and Google assistant! I love using the voice command to put on cartoons for the kids or play a song, playlist or podcast. It's just amazing. So convenient and makes life so much easier! The USB location in the back is at a good access point, not too far hidden as our previous TV had been. The sound quality is outstanding, the picture quality is crystal clear. A truly luxurious TV with all of the high end features at an affordable price.
I have had this television for about 2 weeks. It replaced a 50" Samsung. I cannot comment on gaming, as that is not something this tv will be used for. The picture is extremely clear, and seems just as good as the $2400 tvs we were guided towards in BestBuy. This tv is not available in my area at any BestBuys. Seems to sell out quickly. I have not changed any of the picture settings yet. I may experiment with that (menu controls are easy). The sound on this tv is fantastic. So far, very pleased. I am using this with a cable box and streaming channels. Walmart had this tv for $1149- It was during prime day sales.
I have had this TV for a few months now it has been great. Oppo BD 103 at 1k through Onkyo TXNR 1010 @ 4K to TV. I really notice the 120 Hz panel. Really nice colours. There are a lot of settings I and I had to learn about sharpness, etc. But I think I got a pretty good TV. The Google TV part of it works flawlessly. Very happy with that. Does not hook up to my remote though. The frame and the stand look fantastic. Best on the market for looks I think. I bought a 5 year warranty on it. The TV speakers are fantastic. To have the TV on its own, the TV speakers are fantastic. The picture is not perfect all of the time. Like sunshine going through hair. Light enough to setup yourself.
The colors look really good but the motion processing on this one is bad. Not sure if it's just my panel. A lot of the content in panning shots loose most of the details. I will be returning ring my unit.
