Only problem was online said last 3 but went to store and had tons on the shelf!
Very attractive, sturdy, and easy to wrap around the railings of my long front porch. Also appreciated very much knowing how many strings it was OK to attach together. However, in stringing them together, the ends did not easily connect...the collars resisted being turned to move out of the way for receiving the next end, and screwing it tight. Also, some of them didn't match up well enough to turn on the next string...this almost caused me to return one thinking it was faulty, but after numerous tries I finally got it attached just right and it lighted up. While these two things were frustrating, persistence paid off in the end and I got them all installed...they look great!
Ordering/pickup was easy as always. NO problems, courteous and fast employee's. Lights worked as advertised. No problems.
We purchased these lights to put around our back patio.We had a few struggles with the clips, some were broken or malformed, most were ok and we didn't need all of them anyway. Then when we finally got them up after testing them a few strands at a time the very last strand wasn't working. Since we hooked them end-to-end we switched out the cord of another strand and it works. Just a bad strand. If someone else had gotten it and only ordered on strand they would have had to return them. So once its all up, the sun sets I turn them all on for real, so proud. Always wanted lights like this in the back. Then I come on and wash some dishes and look out the window and notice drooping and I think, that was a corner I'll just have to reinforce that spot. But when I go out the opposite end on another two strands already has a big chunk of lights out. I'm so bummed out. Almost everything in my life has been taking extra steps to finding a way to find peace or a job done. I wanted this to be my escape not another example of a place in life I have to do extra steps (returning a brand new defective product!) to find my peace. I wish things were made to last. So much of what I get is here seems short lived.
If they work they look great. 1 out of the 4 strands I bought didn't work at all. I went back and bought another one and that one had a 2 foot section that wasn't lit. Very frustrating!
We bought 9 sets 3 have to go back right away. The prongs are all bent. We plugged them in
I buy these rope lights every year. I love them until this! The blue is not near the vibrant color they use to be and the white this year looks yellow. I am very disappointed!!!
16 miles from my nearest Walmart went twice today both were not working I'm very unhappy
They are ugly, not white or clear, they are yellow and the blue were green. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
