For the price I was impressed with this item. It's not the super thick kind that requires you to fluff it, which is good and bad. However, it looks nice, lights all work well and I would buy more if needed.
Okay, yes it looks a little thin. But, for the price I think it's fantastic. I ordered two sets, so four different strands and each strand had at least one bulb that was totally broken. So I used the extra included bulbs and replaced them. No big deal. I think they look great, though.
I had some old one that were at least 10 years old that finally would no longer work. I bought these expecting them to be worse because they seemed stiff and not as pretty as my old ones. I was surprised. The lights are much brighter and they have hung out so they look really nice. I hope they last as long as my other ones.
You get what you pay for. It's very stiff and cheaply made but works well for outside hand rail. In the dark it looks pretty good. Wish they would come up with prelim that didn't need plugging in. I hate extension cables all over the place
I bought this last year and it was perfect in the 18' length as advertised on the box. I needed another box this year and when I got it out to hang it, the garland was in 2, 9' lengths connected by the light cords. I thought the garland was defective and returned it! The new box was the same and on closer inspection I saw it was listed in small print that it was in 2 9' lengths. I was able to use it but it was kind of clumsy where I tried to connect the center where it was separated.
I wanted to get pre-lit garland to drape up my stairs, but I have to say, these were a little disappointing, the Garland seem very thin and the lights were just laying on top. I was expecting them to be intertwined with the Garland. Didn't really think they would last more than one season. Had to return
Yes, it says on the side of the box that this is two 50 light strands. I'm ok with that, but it means that you have to twist the ends together and hide 2 feet of wire. Also, even taking it out of the box needles were falling all over the floor. The house was a mess before I even got it hung. No telling how long this will last but it's up so it'll do this year.
