We love this fan very quiet. We bought our first one about 10 years ago and still works and looks great.
This window fan is a great value. It is thermostat or manually controlled and very quiet while running. And the reversible air flow feature means not having to turn the fan around by hand to switch from intake to exhaust. I recommend this fan!!!

Love these window fans. Had them years ago in another apartment and after moving knew I had to get them for my new place. Installed them with a window ventelator screen and then the regular screen in back. Allows me to leave my apt windows open 24/7 (depending on outside temp) and come home knowing the room will be comfortable with no risk of rain coming in . . . all without leaving the air conditioner running! We bought a double sided window fan for the low hum and the feature of bring air i or out. The fan rattles on its own accord even if f it's held in your hands. Cheap quality and cheap packaging for delivery.
after using for 3 weeks started to rattle badly. Then 5 days ago, last fan quit. It was only used for about 8 hours at night, and not all nights. really dissapointed. Ordered a bionaire from someone else, it is so much quieter, and has more choices in temperature and fan speed.
Very noisy! After about 10 minutes it started making a knocking sound on one side. We checked to make sure that the screws were on tight then noticed that the side making the noise has a zip tie holding something to it but the oher side doesn't (compare photos). Makes me think this was sold as new but it's refurbished! Going to send it back!
One fan became very loud after a couple of uses, and couldn't send it back. So I put a shut off switch on that side as you don't need to use both all the time. I do like the thermostat feature.
