My son is a July 4th baby, and usually we do something all American and go to the baseball game. However, this year is a little different, there is no baseball, no games, and social distancing. So, I was on a search for how to celebrate at home while still being frugal and keeping things from being hard to store.These Patriotic decorations are PERFECT. They are reusable, (paperclips vs tape or sticky tabs!), which means I can use them again next year no matter what the year brings. They store easily, fairly flat and unobtrusive on a shelf.They are big and bold, the different sizes are great, and they come with string to hang them.Best of all, they turn any space into a festive red white and blue bonanza!!
We decorated our family room with these for the 4th and they were super cute. They are easy enough to assemble that my little kids (ages 4-7) were able to do it and they included string and everything to hang them. I do with the string wasnt all the same length--a little more variety of hanging heights would have been nice, but other than that, they were an excellent display. I love that when you are done, you simply fold them up and they take up almost no space. We will be breaking them out next year for sure.
Having grown up being taught proper treatment of the US flag according to law and tradition (cant wear it, cant display expect in certain ways), 4th of July Decor can be problematic. These decorations are not an issue - all fall into the "bunting" category - which means I am not displaying the USA flag incorrectly, without the due reverence it deserves.Additionally they can be set up two ways - permanently assembled or temporary assembly. They can decorate for a long-term project (such as a school room for focus on topic) or a short-term party (like 4th of July).
As a military veteran household, I use patriotic decorations throughout the year - Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th and Veterans Day among other significant dates for my family (like the return of a loved one following an active duty deployment). Its a bonus that these are also the team colors of the local high school. I expected these decorations to be the usual tissue paper like ones I get at discount stores but instead I was pleasantly surprised. These items are a thicker paper stock that holds up well and can easily be stored and reused. Everything is easy to assemble and as a grouping makes a great statement display or background. I know I will get a lot of use out of this set.
I am a HUGE fan! Upon delivery we decorated the living room in these and it feels like we need to host a voting booth or at least have some sort of party where people either dress up like Uncle Sam or tell us why we should vote for them. My kids are freaking out, one is singing "were coming to America!!" at the top of his lungs and the other is demanding that I give these the best review of all the things Ive ever reviewed. Even the husband is like, "YESSS!"Besides the aesthetics and feelings of pride these foster, they are really good quality for a party decoration. They are a stiff paper, not the tissue paper honeycomb decor that I thought these would be made out of. Its more of a cardstock feel to it. They come with a string already secured to them, I did have to knot the string in order to hang them up, but that was no big deal. You can pass the string through the connecting side, or just use the provided white paperclips to secure them together. I did this so itd be easier to take them down and store them for the next holiday (as much as Id love to keep these up year round)... I am confident these will last for a long time if they stay out of the hands of my two yr old.My husband did say he was thinking theyd be more vibrant, and I must say I agree that the colors are a little more muted than in the pictures provided on Website. That being said, theyre still great, the colors are normal and are similar the shades on a traditional American flag.
I just received these gorgeous pinwheel decorations, and have already flared them out ...ready to hang! 4th of July coming up soon! All were so easy to assemble with the included paperclips. The assembled "Party Fans" are made of a sturdy paper, and hold the crisp pleats nicely and should last for quite a while. After displaying, all you have to do is remove the paperclip on each one and it will close, ready to put away for next time. There are 12 fans in all, 3 different sizes of 4 each: 16", 12", 8". Im impressed with the brilliant red, white, and blue colors, and the snazzy designs! They all come with some light string threaded in the handles, but easily removed if you need something different for hanging. Because the fans are made of paper, I would recommend their location for inside if saving them for another occasion, otherwise outside away from any heavy breeze. Personally, I think they are worth saving for the next holiday.
We use backdrops in our garage to upscale a Memorial Day party and these added just the right pop of color to the background! We really enjoyed them and also appreciate that we can refold and reuse them next year.

A great festive paper product for indoor decorating. They arrived closed/folded in perfect condition. They were easy to open and hang - string was included.
I hung these festive decorations outside under my eaves on July 3, but I had to take them down shortly after due to windy conditions that would ruin them. The paper is rather sturdy, and the colors are bright. I like that there are different patterns and sizes. I dont like that the string that came with these needs to be poked through the holes and then tied. The white paperclips can be used to hold the fan ends together in the open position, or they could be bent and used as hooks. There seems to be an adhesive strip on the ends to affix the decorations in the open position, but I wanted to be able to reuse these annually and store them compactly, so I didnt use the adhesive. The string on one decoration had twisted so tightly I couldnt get it down. When I returned after the rainstorm, the decoration had torn into pieces and the rain had warped the paper. It was a loss. I will likely hang these inside next year in front of my windows.I received this product for free in exchange for this review.
