Its totally worth it!! l was very pleased. Mom broke her ankle needed a wheelchair ramp to help her get in and out for the next 3-6 months.
We bought this ramp to accommodate a friend who visited us frequently; we thought it is the right thing to do. It arrived much sooner than the initial schedule and I am happy about it. It is well packed. I can handle 60 lbs; but the size of this package made it a little more difficult. Make sure you have a dolly or someone to help you. Even after reading the instructions multiple times, I still had some trouble unfolding and securing it properly. But it was a minor issue. It is quite sturdy, the texture surface is very nice and functional. Highly recommended.
This ramp is sturdy and durable and also easy to use. It is foldable and can be taken away or put in the doorway quickly and easily. It also clamps to the doorway and is secure for the heaviest weights and accommodates all wheelchair types.
I used it for a handicap ramp. It is sturdy and light weight.
Great quality, easy to set up. Speedy shipping. However, we cannot use it because it is not long enough.. The rise is too steep. Wish you had a longer one.
No one really likes moving. I got to do it in the midst of chemotherapy and a major surgery that involved removing a 3rd of my right lung. So I perceived those two steps leading into my new home as a huge hurdle, until I saw this ramp. This ramp, and a hand truck, got all my furniture into my new home with so much less effort. The incline for two steps was perfect for this 8 foot ramp. It handled the weight of all my furniture, plus my own weight. I'm so glad it worked for my purposes. It did exactly what I needed it to.
We bought the 8ft ramp for my husband. His power chair has plenty of room; the small side rails are perfect, and weight distribution is just right. He can now go down two steps out to an area inaccessible before.
After my dog had hip replacement, I've opted for this ramp instead of a (usually much narrower) dog ramp. And what a great help this was, for me - not having to carry her up/down the stairs and for my dog. The surface is rough enough to provide good traction even when wet. She took to it easily - no training or bribery necessary. This was a great and smart investment, and now I'm using it for another dog with hip problems. Highly recommend it!
We actually bought this for our elderly dobermann (not pictured). Took her a little bit of getting used to but she loves it now and I don't have to panic about her falling down the stairs. It's very heavy and I wouldn't say easy to transport unless there is 2 of you
Ramp was not wide enough for wheelchair. Also, not sturdy enough to support the weight of a person in a wheelchair.
