I have had this comforter set including the decorative throw pillows for a year now & it's still absolutely wonderful. I've washed it about a million times & it still has it's colors & quality. The only reason why I would get rid of it is because I'm just looking for something new, that's it. I would DEFINITELY recommend this set.
I actually bought this because it was red and black and that's the colors I'm doing my bedroom make over theme in. It is just amazing. It gives my room the look and feel that I was going for. If you think that it might be a little to dark for you then I recommend that you also add in a couple of white accents in your decor to lighten it up some but I couldn't be happier with it. I did go in the local store and bought some of the matching pillows that go along with this comforter. I wouldn't trade it for anything else out there. I'm totally in love with mine!
I absolutely love this bed set, it looks great and is comfortable too....I would recommend this product to anyone looking to spice up there room a little bit, its beautifull!
My husband & I recently purchased this bedding & I fell in love with it. I guess since Im into the whole red & black theme this suited perfectly. Like other reviews posted they should have included sheets; however I did purchase black sheets seperately. Anyway I love this & so recommend it!
I got this in November 2008, and the comforter set is BEAUTIFUL and really comfy. the bad thing is that it catches dog and cat hair on the black parts. Also, mine got a hole in it from the dryer, maybe something got caught idk.. but i had to show it back up. Other than that its really beautiful.. i got it at the walmart store and couldn't find the rest of the collection so i just got red Egyptian sheets and these black pillows :)
I apsolutely love this bedding. It is so rich and beautiful looking. My bed now looks so much more elegant and grownup. I just love the mixture of textures on the comforter, and the matching sheets is awesome.
This comforter set is great! It looks better in person than it does on screen. I only have 1 warning for any potential buyers: if you have a king size bed, the comforter does not extend very far past the edges of bed. Other than that, it is perfect! I was a little worried that the flocking on the designs would rub off on our clothes, but it has not been a problem!
I absolutely love the colors. It is very comfortable, but it ripped along the seam after 2 weeks of having it and I had to search all over town trying to get it replaced since I had already used it. The tassels off of one fell off almost immediatley. Other than these problems I love it , but I think it's the colors I like. I would definately not buy another home trends comforter set again. I've bought 40.00 bed in bags that still haven't ripped.
I was so excited to buy this comforter and get it on my bed. I washed it first, so it smelled fresh and clean. I already expected the velvet strips and swirls to pick up cat hair, but after using the lint brush on it a couple of times the I noticed I couldn't get all the lint up. Well it wasn't lint...it was the actual fibers from within the comforter that were pulling through. I even tried a fabric shaver to trim them down but it was so time consuming that I gave up. From afar the bedding looks gorgeous, but up close tons of white fibers are poking through giving it a linty look. The comforter is nice and heavy and since I put it on my bed I no longer use my electric blanket, but I wonder after loosing fibers all the time if it will eventually thin down a bit. I've had it for 1 month already, and I hope the shedding slows down or stops completely with time. The Wal-Mart Where I live only offered the 2 decorative pillows you will see in the photo, so that was a downside...I was hoping I could purchase the other ones online.
Well On Feb. 29, 2008 I had bought this item and was very angry because when I washed the comforter the sticthin came apart. I am not very happy about this. 70 dollars just was wasted.....
