I love this quilt! It has an antique look. It has rose and yellow hues. Very happy with it's look, size, and quality.
I do love my quilt. I even took it to the beach with us on vacation. It doesn't slide off the bed like my old comforter did. It is heavy enough to keep warm, but not too thick. The other reviews about the colors are correct. I bought mine in the store though, so I knew what I was getting. I love the softer colors. I just wish there were some more matching peices. I would definetly buy more like it. In fact I am thinking of buying one for my son in more masculine colors.
I bought it from the store but looking at the picture online wanted to warn people that its not the color thats portrayed, not nearly as bright! If you are interested in this quilt I recommend going to the store to make your mind up. It is beautiful and fits my bed and style perfectly!
This quilt is well made! The fabric is durable, finely stitched, soft and soothing to the touch. Multi-colors are more subtle than portrayed in the web site picture. The colors suites a sohisticated woman. The antique subtle colors of rose, lavender and yellow went well with my pale lavender wall, rose accent pillows, rose bed skirt and cherry bedroom furnitures.
I love the colors, but the picture on line does not display the actual colors correctly. The pink is not really pink, more like a mauve shade. The predominate color is pale yellow and off-white. I like that it is a little larger that most queen size quilts I have found elsewhere. The larger size allows for a longer drop on the sides to accommodate the thickness of newer mattresses. I do not like the fact that it does not have a matching bedskirt available. I also am not fond of the ties on the ends of the shams. In spite of these drawbacks, I still am very happy with this quilt. It is for a guest room with antique furniture, so it looks very nice.
Very happy with my purchase of this quilt and shams. Good quality. Nice looking. Hard to find something in yellow. Wish the shams didn't have ties.
It is soft and its not to thick or thin.
I bought this quilt to match my daughter's nursery. I have a spare bed in there and I wanted a quilt that had pink in it. Well from the looks of this quilt online it is bright pink. Ha boy was I wrong. The pink looking color is PLUM! I was very upset with it. It isn't a bad quilt at all, it just dosen't match. The colors are MUCH darker than they appear online so unless you want darker I wouldn't buy it. If you want pink...this is NOT one to buy.
This quilt is very yellow with minimal pink tones which I bought it for. The size and weight are fine but if you don't want yellow don't buy this one. I haven't decided to keep it yet because the color doesn't work for my husband or myself.
IN THE PICTURE PROVIDED THIS QUILT LOOKS SOOOOOO COLORFUL, AND CHEERFUL. THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. WHEN I RECEIVED IT I WAS SOOOOOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED ! THE COLORS LOOKED AS THOUGH THEY WERE ALL WASHED OUT. SO SAD FOR THIS PRODUCT !!!
