I bought this set a few months ago, i love the comforter it is very comfortable the only par tis that when you wash it it loses shape bit, and the bed skirt just didnt match at all
i absolutley love the comforter set. the comforter is so thick and warm for the winter. i like that i dont have to use anything extra to keep warm.
Overall i'd have to say ive been very pleased with the set. It was a little on the pricey side for walmart but definitely worth every penny. It's very comfy and seems to be well made. My guess is that it will hold up for quite a while.
I bought this set and I used red sheet set and I purchased 2 different sage green pillows instead of the ones show in the photo. It was a bit to much pattern for me. I also bought red tab curtains to match. Turned out beautiful. What a great buy.
I just bought today and like it alot, I agree though that the bedskirt does not coordinate at all when the darker side of the comforter is used. I think I am going to buy a red one to match the accents. The store did not enough of the "accessories" and I hoped to find them on line. Unfortunately only the comforter set came up on line - couldn't find the matching sheets, shams, pillows etc. Very frustrating - but I LOVE the set. Queen fitted sheet is very large, I was worried about it fitting the new puffier mattresses - but it worked great.
I love the comforter itself and the shams. I also purchased the 2 accent pillows and have them set up the same way as shown in the picture. I agree that the bedskirt does not match with the comforter when you have it on the darker side. I used an olive green sheet set and it turned out really nice. Overall I really like the comforter set.
I purchased this comforter set in March of 2007 and like it very much. The comforter is sized very generously (I bought the queen) and the shams are well made. The bedskirt is not gathered but is flat, pleated fabric, not a style I'm fond of. Also the co-ordinating fabric used for the skirt does not match either side of the comforter. The set has held it's shape very well, washes and drys beautifully.
This set is the best I've ever had!! My mom and I went shopping and I picked this set out for her!! I loved it so much I went out the next day and bought the same one!! Just a tad silly since we live in the same house but we're on different floors!! This is a wonderful set, however I was surprised at the price but evidently it didn't affect me too bad because I still bought it!!! It's neat that my mom prefers the country decor and I'm more of a contemporary girl and it works wonderfully for both of us!! We've both washed these several times and have had no problems!! Would def. recommend to anyone!!
I purchased this comforter set about a month ago and it is already starting to come apart in two different places. The tears are not on seams that can be repaired either. They are in the middle of the fabric. I am so disappointed because I absolutely love this comforter. I do agree that the bedskirt does not match and it was very pricey for Wal-Mart.
