I am very pleased with this product. It matches my decor in my family room and get lots of compliments from family and friends. This product does look like what is shown in the picture. Thank you Wal-mart for offering this product again.
It looks nice and was very easy to hang.
First, they arrived within just a few days. They are very attractive and would go well in a formal or an informal room. They were very easy to install.
These curtain rods are very nice. They accent my bedroom very nicely. Well made and the price can't be beat. I would recommend them to any one in the market for new rods.
I purchased these rods while redecorating our bathroom and bedroom. We placed these over the french glass doors leading into the bedroom and they look awesome. We were trying to find a very warm and romantic feeling and these did it. They have a very royal almost castle look to them. I also paired with some brown striped tab panels from wal-mart as well. They really paired wonderfully with these curtain rods!
When I saw these curtain rods in the store, I was so excited! As soon as I got home with them, I hung them in my dining room. They look even better up on the window! They have such a stately, classy look, but for a very affordable price. I am very happy with my purchase, as I am returning to my wal-mart store later this week to get another rod for my Living room. I also purchased matching curtain rings to hang my panels, and they really complete the look, for less!
The wall brackets are "chintzy" looking especially when viewed from the side. No "decor value" at all. Other than that, the rods look good as long as the brackets aren't in view. A little more design thought for the brackets would make these great buys.
These rods are great. For the price they are strudy and look just as good as those found in a speciality store. This is the 2nd "Home Trend" curtain rods I've bought at Walmart and they have been great.
Below, I stated these finials do not come off. That was my mistake--I previously purchased a different style from this exact line of window hardware and the finial was not removable. I assumed these also were not, but have since found out that they are. I don't know how that escaped my attention, but it makes these even better.
Window treatments get very expensive when you have a lot of windows to work with, and I really needed value drapes and hardware to outfit the 6 windows in my living room. I chose these and some Springmaid drapes, also from WallyMart. I've gotten many compliments on both that they look rich and lavish. The finials do not come off, so you have to have your drapes on the rod before you try to mount the rod, which is not a big deal--I just find it easier to hang drapes with the rod mounted. The rod is definitely a little light-weight; not flimsy, but not sturdy enough for heavy drapes and maybe a little problematic for people whose cats like to climb!! Overall, these are a great value--a nice, polished look for an affordable price. Also, this may help someone to choose--initially, when I saw the Barrister rods on the internet, I preferred the square finial and wanted to buy those. In the end, I chose this style over the Barrister rods after seeing them in store; both had a similar finish and price, but the Barrister finials looked quite oversized to me, especially considering that the rods don't seem sturdy enough to hang heavier, more substantial drapes. The Belmont style finial I found to be a little more in scale with lighter weight fabrics. Both are a nice look though, depending on what you prefer.
