These totes are great. They are huge as well, measuring 70x40x46”. I love using them for larger items like comforters and blankets. We can easily fit two queen bed comforters or four large blankets in each tote. The kids latch securely and the latches are easy to operate. The totes stack nicely when loaded but just be careful because due to the size the lids will flex if a heavy tote is stacked on top. When not loaded the totes fit perfectly inside each other and store easily. These totes are durable under normal use but in full discourse I do have to admit one was broken straight out of the shipping box. Our security camera showed the delivery driver literally throwing the box onto our porch. I did not mark the product down due to this obvious misuse / abuse of the deliver driver. As stated under normal use they are fine. The plastic is a little flexible that allows for added durability.
These things are great... heavy duty and made so well! I love the fact that they're see-through. I was able to organize so much in just these 6 boxes. There's no better feeling than being organized and being able to find everything quickly. Love it!
The Homz 112 quart plastic storage totes are great for when you need light storage for things like linens and clothes and other things that aren't extremely heavy. The 112 quart tote is really big, with 28.75"L x 16.0"W x 18.25"H dimensions. They are tall enough to accommodate a 25lb bag of pet food, standing upright (see my photos below). The totes are clear and it's easy to see what's inside. They each have a lid and latch. The latch isn't what I'd call heavy duty and serves more to just hold the lid in place than secure it to the tote itself. You can easily pry the corners up even with the latches closed. The lids do not have gaskets around rim to keep out moisture or odors. The plastic construction of these totes is perfect for light-duty storage. They aren't what I'd consider really heavy-duty and I think that they'd bow or bend (especially when moving them from room to room) if they were to have extremely heavy objects placed in them. But, they are economical and are quite perfect for things like pet food/treats/toys, linens, clothing, etc. I was thrilled that I can fit three full 25lb pet food bags in a single tote, and upright no less! This has made pet food storage so much simpler. I have also been using them to store comforters as the totes are large enough to stuff an entire queen-sized comforter or quilt inside. Overall these are really great totes for the price. They get the job done and provide a ton of storage space for any number of household storage needs. I would definitely recommend this product for all light to medium-duty storage needs.
I am writing a review Homz 112 Qt. Plastic Storage Latching Tote, Clear/Blue (Set of 6). I have tried very many different storage totes. These are my favorite so far. I love that you can see what is inside. And the 112 qt. size is great for storing all kinds of things. But my favorite feature about these totes is the locking lids. It makes such a difference. I've used many without locking lids and they tend to pop off constantly when stacking or moving them. I highly recommend these totes to anyone looking for a convenient storage tote. Great product!
These bins are huge with maximum storage given the smooth sides inside and out. They are clear so you can easily see the contents. They stack well and feel very durable. The clear lid sets on nicely and then the hinged blue clamps ensure a tight closure. The uses are endless: you can use these for camping, holding toys (like I did with one), storing seasonal clothing or decorations, shoe bin, tools, garage or sports gear, electronics, gardening tools, linens, laundry, etc. If you have stuff, you can make good use of these.
I received these Homz 112 Qt. Plastic Storage Latching Tote, Clear/Blue (Set of 6) to review and I have already put them to good use to organize and store things in our attic. We own a small business so things that are in storage much be organized and easy to keep track of. I really like that these are clear so you can really see what is in each bin. The latching lid feature is great because it keeps everything hooked and sealed when in storage. These Homz totes are taller than some other containers I've tried and I like that a lot. It allows for a few more pieces to be stored in each container and also allows for larger things to be stored safely. These totes are easy to lift and very easily stacks on top of each other. I like the size and the features such as the latching handles/lid and also that I can see what's in the container. However, one negative is that they aren't quite as durable as other totes I've used in the past. We use totes and use them hard. They get handled a lot and get banged around quite a bit too. Upon arrival (they were shipped to our home and all six were stacked in one box), the bottom tote was smashed and the bottom was totally busted out. So overall, these are a nice addition to our collection of totes we use. I would still recommend these because they are really nice.
I needed to organize some clutter in a way that's easy to keep track of what's inside, but still keep it out of the way. These storage containers do the job well. The latching handles are easy to use. The design is simple and attractive, nothing fussy and matches any style. The size is very generous to hold many items or really big out of season items. The clear view makes it easy to see what's inside when trying to find what you're looking for. It's also nice that they stack perfectly well. Plus the fact that they all come in a pack of 6 storage boxes, make it easier to buy a bunch of these matching boxes all at once to organize a garage, basement, closets etc. One of the boxes came a bit broken by the handle, but it still can be used, just won't use it as a waterproof box. Found these to be very useful for my needs.
These are nice because they provide easy visibility to see what's packed inside. I like that they have latches. This makes it so much easier to open the boxes than having to pry the “traditional” cover ones off. They are not made for putting heavy stuff in because the plastic is a little flimsy. These are perfect for putting clothes in and other light items.
My first set of Homz 112 quart latching totes arrived with one cracked and broken. The second set arrived with one or two small exterior plastic pieces broken off. Nothing that would affect its use or the covers from latching securely thankfully, but this offered me some idea of how fragile these totes were. First off, these totes are tall and long. They can hold a lot. I was organizing bedding this weekend and managed to pack around 7 or 8 large furry throws in each one and latch the tops without having to use force to get them to secure. However when I went to pick them up, the handles on each tote bent back like they were going to break if I carried them too far. The sides also bowed in and out more easily than I was comfortable with. I expected the plastic to be thicker and more rigid than this. Especially for totes of this size. I would never trust packing anything heavy like books in these. The irony was when I looked at the label, I discovered they are made right here in the good ol' US of A. How disappointing. The latching lids work well. No breaking your nails trying to pry the edge of a lid open and they stack easily as the photo shows. I'd recommend these totes to store lighter items such as clothing, linens, bedding and things you're not going to be moving around very much. Anything more, you may want to look elsewhere.
The good....I like how these bins are clear and have clear lids. Makes it very easy to find stuff. These are a little taller than your regular bin. But they are a little narrower also. I also like the blue latching handles. The not so good....2 out of 6 bins arrived broken and cracked. And 3 out of 6 of the lids were broken. And the lids aren't that tight on the sides. These bins seem flimsy too. They were packaged horribly.
