This storage pouch is very surprising. From the outside, it looks like it has very limited capacity. I was in hopes of having an extra place to save wrapping paper and keep it in pristine condition between uses. Once I unpackaged this storage pouch, the amount of room available inside was remarkable. The best thing about it is the internal schematic which allows and provides for a variety of difference gift wrapping supplies to be stored carefully and safely. The length of it presents room for a lot of wrapping paper. This allows for storage for more than just Christmas wrapping paper. The length also extends far enough beyond the wrapping paper, to provide a neat storage area for bows so that they will not get crushed or distorted while put away. There are smaller pockets where tape and tags can easily be stored and retrieved. There are additional zippered pockets on the inside of the lid/cover. There are also handles on the outside, to make carrying the bag convenient. There is a handle which allows it to be carried vertically, as well as a handle that allows it to be carried horizontally. This is SO much better that the storage containers that I have had previously. This item would be a thoughtful gift to give to someone.
This is a lifesaver for my storage needs especially because it holds 40" rolls! My other gift wrap holder is great for standard rolls but my larger rolls had to sit separate in the shelf. It fits perfectly under my shelf and is perfect for under the bad or laying down.
I have had several rolls of wrapping paper that were longer than the nornal ones and they were sitting in a bag in a corner of the room. Buying this Canvas Gift Wrap Bag, I have all the long rolls organized and in one place. Wish I would have bought more. This one is better than the other "canvas" type storage organizers I've bought from catalogs.
This was a great buy. There is plenty of space for wrapping paper, ribbons, tissue paper, bows, name/greeting cards, tape, scissors, etc. Takes up very little space in my closet. Good buy for the cost.
I have been looking for something to hold my wrapping paper. I had been putting them in a bag and it was very hard to carry. This is great and soooo easy to handle. It holds the 40" rolls of paper. Love it!
This is a really nice organizer for my paper. It does have pockets for other items such as ribbon, bows, stickers, etc but as far as bows go, I don't use it. Premade bows will get crushed. However flat folds of ribbon are fine as is anything that can stand being squeezed. My chief complaint is that it doesn't hold enough rolls to cover all my paper. But I love the fact that it will take the really long rolls quite well with no bending. I usually keep the long ones in the closet or the garage but by the following Christmas, they're bent and often unusable. This organizer holds them beautifully and keeps them dry and not bent. I like how narrow it is as well. I have limited space in the closet. The organizer slips right into the small space in the closet easily and with the rolls enclosed, is sturdy enough to lay a few small items on top. All in all, it was a very nice piece and I'm glad that my papers will be ready to go next Christmas.
This organizer works perfectly to store my holiday wrapping paper and supplies. All of the rolls fit, including the longer ones, tissue paper, and gift bags too. There are two plastic pockets inside the closing flap that fit smaller items such as gift tags, gift card holders and tape. The only con is that the handles are not very sturdy, so we could not use them to carry the organizer once it was full.
I love that this is a carrier that will fit 40" tubes, no problem! I fit WAY more stuff than I thought possible in there, between bags, paper, rolls, bows, ribbon, even some boxes! I wish it was just a little wider so that I could fit extra large bags, but I'll live. The only problem I had was that the handles are, basically, ribbon, and the knots came out of the holes the moment I picked it up after filling it. If that's the worst though, I'm fine! Great for the price!
My previous 'gift wrap container' bit the dust and I'm actually glad. This one is so much better. It holds many rolls of paper (I like lots of different Christmas wrappings), bows, stickers etc; easy access and fits nicely under a bed. I may get another one for non-Christmas wrappings, although I don't usually get that until it's 'gift/person specific' i.e. b'day, baby shower, wedding.... but there are always left-overs on any given roll, so, maybe...
I read the reviews before purchasing this product, but somehow expected that the one I purchased would not have the same defects that others described. Well, just as someone else said, the handles are each like a shoelace knotted at each end, and the knots slip through the holes too easily. The first time I went to lift the case after loading it with wrap, the handle broke immediately. Despite multiple efforts to come up with workarounds to fix the handle, nothing seems to work, and I just have to lift the entire thing like a large box to move it from one location to the other. This case does store large and small wrap nicely, but if you include even one large wrapping paper role, that renders one of the Velcro sectionals unusable. I don't mind, but it does make the whole thing less functional. Despite these two pretty major flaws, I needed something to organize my wrapping paper and accessories in a compact way, and I really do feel that this does the job. My quality of life is made better by the organization and not made significantly worse by the inconvenience resulting from bad product design. I should have purchased something with handles sewn on, but I did not want to pay more for the one at the container store. Or, I could have purchased the plastic bin, but I did not want something that would take up so much space. This bag does the job, but I think it is overpriced for the quality.
