The Honeywell DH70PWKN 50-Pint Dehumidifier with Built-in Auto-Drain Pump features a durable, compact, glossy-white body that blends elegantly in any room. The DH70PWKN Energy Star Certified Dehumidifier removes moisture with less energy than conventional dehumidifiers, saving energy costs! This unit removes up to 50 pints of moisture daily from medium to large rooms such as basements, dens, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms. The continuous drain option with built-in drain pump increases flexibility by allowing you to continuously drain the condensate water and the drain pump makes positioning the dehumidifier easier by allowing water condensation to be drained vertically or horizontally up to 15 feet (E.g.: drain condensation upwards to a higher-level sink basin or a bucket). A smart digital humidistat control system automatically senses room moisture levels and activates dehumidification to accurately maintain desired humidity levels.

Works well and keeps humidity low in the basement between 35-37. The auto-drain pump system is very convenient because you do not need to empty the bucket. The pump tube is long and is also able to pumps the water vertically. We did have some leakage twice from the tube for whatever reason but haven't had that again. This dehumidifier is quiet compared to the other pump we have. Overall satisfied
This is a very good dehumidifier. Easy to setup in our basement. I am using the drain in the laundry sink to drain the hose. Our basement feels nice and dry.
Seems good Haven't had it that long.Turned in waranty,we'll see
This dehumidifier has a smart humidistat control so that it will turn on automatically based on your settings. With the 15 ft drain hose, the pump will drain condensation out a window or into a sink. The water tank detaches easily. The unit is easy to move around on the wheels. There is a dust filter as well which is washable. There are 2 fan speeds and an automatic full tank shut off. It will even dehumidify in cooler rooms. The A/C seems to run less as well. There is also an auto-restart in case of power failure. A win-win!
Put this in RV plugged into shore power. Drain wouldn't work unless perfectly level or raise front 1/2 to 1 in. Still leaked all over RV. Floor is now soft. Working without autodrain, but don't get over every day to empty. Also runs much hotter than smaller one and cuts off at 85 degrees.
I like this product and it's doing what I bought it for. However, I would change my "like this product" to "Love this product" if the water container was designed better. The container's shape makes it difficult to empty without making some type of mess. There is a long piece of plastic inside the container I believe is there to add strength, and it also holds water back. When you tilt the container to empty it, just when you think it's empty, here comes the water held back by that long piece of plastic wetting your hand and making a mess. This could be an awesome product for the price.
The unit does a nice job with the humidity. The pump does not work and I have to manually drain the water from the unit. Others have the same issue. Not worth the price.
I really wanted to love this dehumidifier. First disclaimer, this is the first one we've ever owned, recently moved to Arkansas from Arizona. I chose this dehumidifier after researching the size needed for our downstairs and wanting one that would pump water continuously out and into our washing machine drain. First disappointment was that it doesn't turn on and off as needed for longer than a 24-hour period. It got annoying having to go downstairs to turn it on every day. For the first week or so, it seemed to be doing a great job, reducing the humidity and pumping it out through the included tube. But several times it randomly turned off, another time it randomly filled the tank and beeped loudly when it was full. I emptied it (a foam seal peeled off and ripped when I removed the tank) and then it continued to continuously drain out the tube again after that. The filter didn't get very dirty, but I followed the recommended cleaning every two weeks. The machine continued to act sporadically and around week 4 of use, it became louder and less effective each day. Although it was only feet away from our smart thermostat, the dehumidifier was often showing 30% lower humidity level. Then it began running, but the fan was not blowing. Several times the machine indicated error codes/numbers that had no reference in the troubleshooting part of the manual. I finally gave up on it one morning when it ran extra loud and I went down to check on it and the lights and numbers were completely glitching out. In summary, even though I followed the user manual as closely as possible, tried several plugs in my home and a lot of patience, I returned this dehumidifier and purchased another one. Hope it's a better experience.
