I bought this heater for my newborn son's room. His room does not get as much heat as the other rooms. I am soo impressed at how well it keeps his room warm. I love the way it turns off when it has reached the desired temp and the way it turns on when it is getting too cool. It really is cool to touch! My other son knocked it over and it shut off automatically. It is well worth the money. I would pay more for it that's how well it works. I love it so much that i'm buying another one for my living room! I don't know what people are talking about when they say its kinda loud. Its not loud at all! A MUST BUY!!!!
Using in a large room of 15x25, perfect heat distribution. Really, what the label says, it is true. It is so good for my pocket and the globe that I am ordering another one, so that I do not need to turn my central on. My central gobbles electricity, like there is no tomorrow.
I asolutely LOVE this heater. It is enexpensive and does it's job. It heats my 2 bedroom duplex well enough to keep my 3-year-old and me plenty comfortable. It's also energy efficient which is great for a single mother like myself. I would recommend this product to EVERYONE!!
You HAVE TO buy this great energy saver! It warms up the whole room in just minutes! Also, it turns off when the temp is regulated. (It also has a setting that you can turn to to have constant heat, if you like...even if this thing IS an energy saver, it still tends to your needs, if need be. ^_^) It's the best $40 I've spent on something VERY useful. I HIGHLY recommend this little guy! (Oh, yeah...it doesn't take up too much space either!)
We purchased this to sit out in the largest open area of our office and so far it has met our expectations.
I bought a few of these little heaters. Very small,safe,light,easy to move,and high heat output. I really like all the heat settings and auto swivel feature. The energy consumption is very low too and also has a kill-switch if tipped over. I would definitely buy them again.
It has only recently been cold enough to use this product where I live. So, I have only used it once but the heat was satisfactory for a single room. It ran fairly quietly. The thermostat performed well. So all in all I would have to say so far it was well worth the price.
This heater puts out a steady stream of heat, which can be put to different settings (65,70,75, or 80). It occillates 180 degrees. It even has 'frost watch' that kicks the heater back on if the room temp drops below 55. Plus, I don't have to worry about it being hot to the touch or getting tipped over by kids or pets. I put it in my kitchen which is normally hard to heat...even with plastic on the windows. We have NO plastic on the larger window and this heater heated the whole room nicely for the first time, as well as some of the heat making its way into our living room. Does a great job. We plan on using it all winter and feel it will do the job.
This heater is a basic coil heater element. It seems to work well thermostatically. It is limited in its thermostat settings and I find that somewhat annoying. It does seem to heat the bedroom in which it is used to the temperature set on the thermostat. As to the savings on energy, only time will tell, but there is not any real way to accurately guage this. In general it seems to serve the purpose for which I bought it.
This heater was almost returned, it did not heat the room intended. It will however heat a small bathroom that is attached to my guest house. In my opinion, based on my experience, if your room is 100sf or less it will work well, otherwise this is not your heater.
