Brought on recommendation from a friend who has two. We installed in about 15 minutes. Very easy. It was a pleasurable experience. Tried my friends trailer for a test. Worked great.
I bought this a year or so ago and wanted to wait until I used it to write my review. This is VERY easy to install. The hardest part was finding a place on my dash and mounting it. I already had a tow package on my truck so all I had to do was buy the wiring harness that plugs right under the dash and I was ready to go! As far as function, there are no fancy bells or whistles to this unit and for the money, it does the job. Easy to use and adjust on the fly and does increase 5-10% after stepping on the brake pedal. I think after buying the unit and wiring harness, it was around $60-$70.
This brake control does what it is supposed to do, and is easy to install. It is cheaply made and it shows, but the price reflects that. I would buy it again.
