Out of all the diet and non-diet individual sized meals, this is probably the best on the market. Size-wise the container is filled to capacity. This is a portion of comfort food, so we always feel full after eating this meal. While the contents would never have been the first choice, once we purchased this, it has become the go-to meal when a meal is needed in a hurry. It cooks in only 60 seconds, great for starving kids (and adults). It's very filling. It's actually tasty and leaves nothing to complain about. It does NOT need to be refrigerated or frozen, so you could easily keep it in an office drawer. It's also perfect for dorm students. It tastes much better than much more expensive individual portioned meals, no matter what the brand. We highly recommend this. As for calories, we fill full after eating this, making it feel as if we've eaten a much bigger quantity of food than we have. You can't go wrong with this. Hormel Compleats Chili with beans was ready in 60 seconds. With tender peices of beef, beans and could see and taste the green peppers and bits of tomato in there with just the right amount of spices. To make this dish truly amazing for me it needs some onions and a side packet of shredded cheese but it still tasted amazing and was ready fast! Who doesnt love a Chili and beans in the winter? With this Hormel Compleats Chili with Beans i don't have to make a huge pot. I was not aware of Hormel Completes before receiving this sample but I must say it is very good. I really enjoyed this Chili and Beans meal. It had a great taste and it filled me up. I love that it has protein and low calories since I try to follow a diet. I liked this much better than a lot of other brands I have tried and definitely recommend this product. I wanted a bowl of chili with beans, so I bought 4 of these at Walmart. I was surprised that it met my taste preferences. It would be nice if Walmart.com carried these online because I order a lot of my groceries online, as do a lot of homebound people, or people who do not have several hours to go shopping locally. Since these are all shelf-stable meals, Hormel Compleats would be a great product to sell all of them online. I recommend you try each of them out before you purchase a lot of them to make sure you like them. They microwave in just 90 seconds. Each one is 10 ounces, which makes a good meal for one person.
I really didn't expect much more than a warm, vaguely chili like substance but as a Texan I can confirm this is real chili. This now has a permanent place in my rotation. Put it on a bed of Fritos, some cut onions, a shot of mustard and that's some good eatin'!

The spices are a perfect blend and overall the taste is just right. Heat it for 60 seconds and you're ready to eat! You don't need to add a thing, except maybe some bread to sop up the extra sauce. As a Plus, it does not require refrigeration, it is shelf sustainable. They stack so nicely too, a real space saver! I bought ten of these based on the reviews, they arrived and we tryed one each and we both felt the same way...VERY GOOD! Thanks Hormel,good tasting meal,quick and easy.
this chilli is not bad. A tad sweeter them I woild have made mine but it is pretty good... has a little *twang* in there that I like. I will buy this again.
Wrapper too difficult to get open, ended up using scissors to open it, then food was still cold. For convenance and flavor's sake it failed, I'll stick to the can and use my own bowl .
