Difficult to find Chicken with barbecue sauce in stores.
This dinner is for two sandwiches so for two people or one hungry person. Of course you supply the buns! It's sweet not hot BBQ and I eat one dinner without buns. Made mostly with dark chicken meat which I prefer. Hormel Sandwich Makers does not need any refrigeration so easy to take with you . The amount of chicken is substantial for two sandwiches . The Meatball Sandwich Maker is good also. I recommend all Hormel dinners. They are made with quality food!
I really enjoy this product. I can easily make two sandwiches from one container. Microwave it for one minute and it's ready. It's great for when you don't want to go out for barbecue. It's quite tasty for the price. I would recommend it to family and friends.
This makes a good hot sandwich in two minutes. Just need a bun.
Very sweet b b q sauce. good on bread and nice for quick meal. Too much sodium, but all pre-packaged meats have a lot of sodium.
This product is misnamed; it should be called Barbecue Sauce with Chicken, because it is SWIMMING in the stuff. Had a weird, peppery taste, it even smelled peppery. I've tried the Meatballs Marinara in this product line, and they weren't bad, not so, this.
As with the other reviews, the package I purchased was mostly barbecue flavored "sauce" with enough thickening agents to make it a gel. It doesn't look anywhere close to the photo on the package. I also agree with the odd peppery flavor, it's just awful.
The other reviews before mine are ON POINT!! This product is disgusting, horrible and mush. I wouldn't even feed to my dog!! It looks NOTHING like the package which is what sold me! Hormel ought to be ashamed of themselves on this product here. Do NOT BUY!!! I wished I uploaded a picture, but I already washed it down the drain, yes washed, its that mushy...what meat?
I used to buy your products which were great for lunch at work. I just tried the chicken barb sandwich maker. You have added something to your product which gives it a horrible after taste.
