I have two boys (2 yr oldy and 4 yr odl). They LOVE it!!!!!!!! We are going to have to go buy some more of this line as we only have one right now. I recommend this so much that I buy it as gifts. I also love the fact that there is no batteries!!
My 6 year old son got this for a birthday present. In theory it is a really cool toy. The problem I have is that you have to really pound it to get the cars to go any distance. And it's even harder to get the airplanes to fly off. I have a 3 year old son as well and it's hard for him to get enough power behind his punch to get the cars or planes to go. It's definitely for older boys.
We have bought several Hot Wheels products for our son, all of which have been of extremely poor quality except of course the little metal cars. So I should have known better, but our son just fell in love with this toy. He has only played with it once for about 20 minutes and has not touched it again out of frustration. There seems to be a problem with getting enough umph to propel the planes and the cars have never worked. Do not waste your money or disappoint your child!
we bought this for our son for his birthday after he hounded us for the last six months about it, and boy was he excited when he first opened it. this excitement was short lived as we realized that even by ME stomping on the plungers, some of the cars wouldn't even leave the launcher. i have adjusted it several times with no luck. will be returning this immediately
