Got this for my nice dishes which I would use for special occassions. They came as expected. All of my twelve dinnerplates fit nicely and securely. Dishes are heavy, and at first I was skeptical to carry them from the kitchen to the garage, but it says it could hold 25 lbs. max, so it passed that test. So far they made my shelves look neat and organized, and my dishes free from dust and dirt and always ready to be use.
This box is plenty sturdy to store the cups from my mother-in-law's china set, which we inherited. The handles make it easy to carry, and the see-through front is an easy give-away as to what's inside. With some tissue paper. Since it was actually made for stemware, I was able to stack the cups 2 high in most partitions, although I did use tissue paper to cushion them from each other.
The first set of storage I bought for my Christmas dishes were too small & had to be returned. These are perfect for my bulky Christmas dishes. I have mugs instead of teacups so the one for Cups is perfect for all of them.
"Holiday Essentials Holiday Stemware Balloon Chest" I love this product, but was a little disappointed in the top. I have almost the same product from years ago & the tops are zippered closed. This top is a great top, padding protection, & colors but if a handle slips out of your hand everything will fall out. A zipper, Industrial strength snap tabs or velcro would be great to have on them to secure. I hope this is a help. Thank You DMT
Perfect storage for my Christmas china. I can identify it right away and it is safely stored until I need it.
Got these for our Christmas dishes. Everything fit well in the boxes and the see-thru window takes the guesswork as to what is in each box. I am very pleased with this product.
It's too small. You can either fit a saucer or the small cups and their plates.
Overall a good product. Felt discs that are included are not quite large enough to cover entire plate. Suggest getting your own felt to fit plate.
The product is made well and very easy to put together. However, i purchased this because in the picture it shows large wine glasses in the window which is exactly what I needed. When I received the chest my wine glasses would not fit in it. I had to bend the interior cardboard flaps and lay the glasses down. I was okay with this since I only have 4 decorative glasses right now, but know that I will have issues in the future if I purchase more glasses. Check the height of your glasses before purchasing.
Very nice storage container, attractive, heavy weight material. 12 inch square dinner plates fit perfectly. I put 4 12-inch plates and 4 smaller plates in it. This is a fairly heavy, stoneware set. Although the box is well made and of sturdy fabric I don't think I would chance carrying it, fully loaded, by the handles. It is, however, a good, economical way to store seasonal sets
