We bought this item to put our tree in so we could store it in our building. We have had a problem with other bags tearing. So far so good. We have only moved it once so were excited to see if it holds up. The bag is super large and I am still amazed it fit my tree which is lik 6 1/2 feet tall but 5 wide and there was still room for more stuff! For the price you can't go wrong.
i was very skeptical abt this bag, as my tree is 7.5 feet and very very full. Reviews I read said durability was a concern. Well, I am here to tell you, I was able to fit my huge tree in this bag with tons of room to spare. I was also able to drag it by the handles across asphalt into my storage unit without any rips or tears to the bag. I highly recommend this bag!!
I needed a large, INDESTRUCTABLE bag to hold something besides a Christmas tree. I saw this product, bought it, and it is doing JUST what I wanted it to do. I did modify it by having an alteration shop cut one end out and fitted with grommets, so it could be used as a drawstring duffel bag to contain an item for which I could not find a ready-made product. FOR CHRISTMAS TREE USE IT WOULD BE PERFECT AS WELL. The material is made of fiberglass cloth and durable. THE INSIDE OF THIS BAG CAN HOLD THE EQUIVALENT OF TWO BALES OF HAY. That's BIG! I bought three bags and am tickled with them! And PRICED RIGHT TOO!
We fit a 7ft Christmas tree and decorations in the bag with room to spare! Very happy with this purchase.
This bag is adequately sized for a large artificial tree and very sturdy. I use this bag to store the tree in a bonus storage area; it effectively hold the three tree components and the stand.
This bag was long enough to fit my Christmas Tree but the width was super large. If it was stronger; it could hold so much more.
This product is good, my 7.5 foot tree fit with room to spare. However, the bag is soooo heavy and awkward to carry that I could not possibly do it, so I ended buying a second bag to split the tree parts up for easy mobility and storage.
The bag is a good value when you consider it's size...you could fit more than one tree (probably 2-3). But it wasn't what I needed. I was looking for something that retains its shape for easy storage, so I returned it. But for the price, I was amazed at its capacity.
Bag was plenty big, but almost impossible to lift and move around after filled. Soft sides and handles don't help with mobility at all. I am already dreading digging it out next Christmas.
We have an 8 ft tree that comes apart in 2 sections. We were looking for a bag long enough (60 inches) for the longer half, but it was so much larger than expected or needed that it did not hold the tree securely at all; it was so big in terms of total volume that it was unwieldy, hard to move and seemed the tree would get all bent up and damaged. Compression straps might help. We returned it and got two sports utility cardboard boxes from U-haul that seem to be a much better deal; they hold the tree sections snug, secure, and standing upright for about the same total price.
