This is basically out of the box ready. It was already put together. All you have to do is attach the handlebar and charge it. Be careful, though, I did manage to get my finger pinched. All the parts and tools you need are there. It’s very nice looking and sturdy. I love the bright pink color. You’ll definitely be seen by others while riding it. Wow, it can even go 11mph. And it holds a lot of weight. This thing is made extremely well. If you’re in the market for a scooter, this is the one to get. You can use it manually or electrically. It takes a long time for the battery to charge. But once it’s charged the battery lasts a long time. My advice would to leave it plugged in every night so it’s ready to use the next day. Getting into that habit keeps you from forgetting to plug it in and having to wait to use it. It’s so much fun!
First off. It arrived in a timely manner and very easy to assemble. The "only" assembly is putting the handle bar on. It took 4 screws that are included and it comes with the necessary tool to tighten the screws. It came with a pump, to pump the tires up, if ever needed. I think it's fantastic. I'm have some age on me and wasn't sure if I would actually be able to ride it. It is so easy to ride. Easy to turn on and push to start, then press the throttle lever that is conveniently located on the handle bar. It even has a cruise control you can set. It has a headlight and taillight. It's lightweight and easy to move around. When you are not using it, it folds away nicely. I think it's great.
This Journey electric scooter has been more fun for the entire family than ever imagined. I really liked that it came basically assembled. In the box also was the electric charger and air pump for the tires. What little there was to put together was done with the included Allen key srench. The bright green color really draws attention going down the street, which is a good thing for safety. I have gone on a 5 mile trip and returned on a single charge. All in all, this is a fun ride and definitely recommend it.
A scooter seemed like it would be fun, and it is. The battery life is excellent, rides very smoothly. It comes with a tire pump, it has cruise control, head light and tail light. We have the yellow, it is bright but really like it. It’s not just for kids, my 67 year old husband like to ride it too. Looking forward to taking it places.
The Hover-1 Journey electric folding scooter is fun to ride! This is my first scooter and I am really enjoying it. The yellow color is more like a neon green with dark navy blue fenders. Modern looking design. My initial inspection of it seems like it is high quality with a great paint job. It was easy to assemble in about 15 minutes. Initial charge took 3 hours. My second charge took 4 hours. I rode for about 2 hours at medium speeds on level pavement before needing charged. The LCD display tells you when your battery is going dead by blinking for about 5 minutes before completely stopping. This scooter is for teens and adults. The tires are 8 1/2" diameter making them stable going over small sticks, stones, etc. Works good on uneven surfaces at low speeds. The unit comes with it's own bike tire pump which is handy. It is super quiet and the bell comes in handy. The scooter easily folds down and will fit in most trunks. Very easy to lift the handlebar up and click into place and you're ready to go. It's easy to carry. The standing platform area is 16" long by 5 3/4" wide. Someone with large feet may have a hard time managing this surface area. It has an easy to use kickstand. The disc brakes are super strong/sensitive so care must be given as mine will grab at the slightest pull; possibly they can be adjusted for a softer pull. Also, the cruise control works but not all the time; mine works sporadically. Scooter accelerates from 0 to 15 mph very quickly. It goes up small hills very well at a slightly lower speed. The handle bars are a good height for about 5' to 6' people. Scooter has a 90 day limited parts and labor warranty. I think this scooter is fun and would recommend it to others.
This scooter is pretty awesome. It didn’t take my husband long at all to put it together. He said it was pretty easy. It takes about 5 hours to charge up then it’s ready for use. It does take some practice if you don’t have great balance like me. It goes slower up hills but does well on flat roads. It goes about 10-15 mph. It has a little headlight which is cool. It seems of very good quality. I like that it folds up for transport or storage. The only negative is they forgot to include the power cord that goes from the block to the wall so we had to find one to use. This would make an awesome gift!
Big enough for a 6foot adult easily. Sturdy Bright colors Bright headlight Easy to operate Screws for handlebars are very tight, which is good...until one screw head stripped while slowly turning . Other than that little flaw an excellent scooter.
Love the look and came well packaged. Charged right up and easy to put together. The folding bars is easy to put down and up. Husband rode and about 180lbs. Looses some power on hills but think this is normal. Easy to use and using for my daughters wedding this weekend!
Scooter is doesn't work anymore due to E6 code purchased in December for my daughter as a Christmas gift.
This box came ripped open, and dented in places. I don't even think all the pieces are there. I've never seen them deliver anything in such a condition as this. I saw it being delivered, but I didn't see the condition it was left in until I stepped out to bring it inside. The delivery person was already gone. No options or instructions on what to do about it were given to me, even though it was clearly crushed. He just left it there, turned around, and continued on his way. I know it's Christmas time and he must be overwhelmed but this is an expensive item for a widowed mom of 4 kids.
