These protective pads and wrist braces are very well made and sturdy. I personally don't use wrist braces, but trying these on I'm confident they'd be more than acceptable for someone who does. I use the knee pads more than the elbow pads, but both are extremely protective with a good solid shell outside and comfortable cushion inside. They attach well and stay snug.
I gave these Elbow pads, Knee pads, and Wrist pads to my Grandson who is very hard on everything and he loved the right away. He goes to the skate park with his Skateboard as well as his Scooter and he used these pads and they worked great. They stayed on very well, which has been a big problem with other kinds in the past. So these are definitely a better!
I am not into extreme sports but I am a gym rat. The knee pads are great to do stuff around the house like scrubbing the bath tub or in the garden if you have a backyard. I will donate the wrist and elbow pads which I do not need and keep the knee pads.
I was searching for pads to use when I wanted to ride my electronic scooter to work and I then landed this gear set of pads. This is exactly what I want and the pads protect my knees, elbows, and wrists and palms. I specifically like the wrist braces, which actually protect my palms and I feel much safe when riding my scooter. Strongly recommend this gear set!
I got these for my nephew because he has a bike and skateboard. I thought he could use them. The top of the pads are very hard. He hasn't fallen, but I hope they don't crack easy. I like the ease of all the velcro straps and the stitching is very well done.
Package arrived today intact and all pieces were included 2 knee pads 2 elbow pads and 2 wrist guards. All seem to be well constructed with Velcro strapping. A sure way to prevent bad injuries when skating, skateboarding, bicycling or riding a scooter. Black in color I would suggest more color options myself like blue, pink or neutral colors like green or orange something brighter. Seems to fit small to medium build types, overall very happy with selection.
At first they felt a little tight, but after a few minutes they fit like a glove. I did fall down on my knee's once (learning a new skill)while wearing them once. And they took the blow. They are secured by Velcro straps and are adjustable. And they come in a breathable tote bag.
The Hoover 6-piece protective gear set is tough. My niece just got her first rollerblades. We had her elbows, knees and wrist solidly protected with these pads. The Velcro straps made this fit snugly. She fell several times, but she bounced right back up no worse for wear. I love these pads. You get two knee, two elbow and two wrist pads in the set. They are light-weight to wear, but solidly protect the body.
These work good. They have a comfort fit as well. The only drawback Is the wrist ones do slide around sometimes but not in a Downward slide. These can even be used for other activities as well. I used them while riding our quads for extra knee an elbow padding. A great multi pack for sure
