[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received our hoverboard go kart. This is going to be a fun go kart for my daughter. She loves all those types of outdoor fun toys. You can also ride the hoverboard with out the cart. You get two ride on toys for the price of one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took my husband 15 min to build the Hoverboard Go Kart Combo. We really like the fact that you can adjust the length of the frame for the driver to have a very comfortable position. The whole kart is very sturdy and comfortable. We all liked the blue lights underneath. There is a weight limit pretty low but my husband and I were both able to try it without difficulties. The whole experience was fun but difficult too. It gaves for sure some good sensations. My husband was the only one to really got the hang of it in a few minutes. For my daughters (8 and 13) and myself, we had a really hard time controlling it and especially stoping it. Going forward is easy, backward great, left, right no problem when you go slow but with the speed and it does go pretty fast it is hard to control and very hard to stop as you don’t have a break. So loved it but not as easy to control as we would like but I am sure we will better after more uses.
This combo was a horrible choice.. we bought our son one for Christmas and when he got on it the hoverboard started spinning and throw him off. I tried to charge it to see if maybe that was the issue but it did the same.. so I took it back and ordered ANOTHER one thinking maybe this one was damaged.. then the other one came in today and I’d the exact same thing! I definitely would not recommend this product! This will go back to the store tomorrow
This was an awesome concept, but the hoverboard does not function properly. It was finicky during charging— it seemed to not be working a lot of the time, so I adjusted it all day. When it was finally fully charged, it completely has a mind of its own. It’s impossible to use because it moves around by itself. When my son did finally get on, he had absolutely no control, as it seemed like it was not following what he was doing and would t stop. Total junk and completely unsafe, and we have a disappointed kid.
Finally opened the 2 we got our boys for Christmas tonight as it's supposed to be nice out tomorrow, and after charging for 5 hours, they won't even turn on! Returning tomorrow. Why even sell a product that clearly many others have problems with. 5 star reviews all have to be paid for.
i don't like the fact i couldn't exchange it for one that would charge when one for Christmas didn't work and now they want twice the $ i payed less then month ago ,walmart should exchange product if less 30 days bought try explaining to littleone why they cant try it out when it was from Santa
This thing is junk. Originally bought for my son for Christmas in 2022 but he wasnt ready to ride it. We pulled it back out recently and charged the unit and while it will charge and turn on while on charger it will not turn on and do anything off the charger. I recommend buying a better quality one.
I purchased this for my 6 year old for Christmas as one of his “Santa gifts” . He was so excited to get it but when he got on it the whole thing started spinning violently out of control (and definitely not at the speed listed on the box!) Thankfully he was wearing a helmet because it ended up flipping back with him before I could grab him off of it and the foot rest piece smacked him in the head. The hoverboard by itself shakes even after holding down the power button and “restarting it” and if the attachment is on the whole thing literally goes by itself with no one touching it. I turned it on to get a video of it and it took off so fast that it put a hole in my living room wall! Not only did this ruin my sons Christmas but it could have seriously injured him. DO NOT BUY unless you want to end up in the emergency room.
Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It sat on the charger all night and when she went to ride it Christmas morning, the hoverboard was not charged. We tried different outlets and it still will not hold a charge. I have reached out to the manufacturers but am still waiting for a response. I am hoping this was a fluke and I will be able to get a replacement quickly. It was a huge disappointment and so difficult to explain to a young child, especially given she had a tonsillectomy 3 days prior and was not in the best mood.
Charged hoverboard and it would not even power up. If you buy this for a kid for Christmas I suggest you try it out before it gets wrapped.
