[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my much needed laptop in record time (I fried my previous laptop.)! However, when looking at the keyboard, I cannot find a "Delete" button. All in all, this is a great product! Thank you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this chromebook for my son for college. He loves it. Easy to set up and has everything he needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Splendid so far, great features, would recommend to any beginner looking for a computer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looking forward to getting this going. Great price for the features.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best chromebooks that I have owned. I bought this one for my son. I knew enlight of the covid-19 virus my son would have Elearning days. It turned out to be just what his school used. The delivery time was fast and hassle free
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a computer for my grandchild needed for hybrid studies..The 1st computer had an issue so needed to replace it ASAP. The way Luis from HP helped just amazing caring and with quickest service amazing. That's what keeps big business in business definitely recommend Mickey
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a refurbished HP Chromebook to start with for 5 years and have just about worn it out, and bought this one as a replacement, and am so glad that I did! This model is SO much more improved over the 14" model that I've been used to, even though I was very happy with that one, this one is so much better! The keyboard is much more responsiv e and very easy to "touchtype" on with very responsive keys that give a very natural feel with the layout. The display and screen is nice and clear and responsive and crisp with clear bright colors. The battery life is really good, I get a good steady 9 to 10 hours of constant use of web browsing / searching / emailing / site usage, before the need to charge comes up and even then, I'm not completely out of juice, I'm still at about 15-20%. The Google Play Store has a plethora of very useful apps that can replace a number of software programs that would be used on a PC platform used in business or for student use, all for free, and if you feel that you have to spend money to get things done, there are apps you can pay for there too. Apps to replace everything in MS office, (for free, and all the data is interchangeable / contervertable) note taking apps, etc. if you can think of it, someone else has too. I have managed to do virtually everything on my chromebook over the past 5 years that I used to do on my PCs without hardly a thought about "Windows". The processor speed is very good for general use on the internet and business uses. Web based games function fine and I've experienced no slow downs or studder or fluctuation at all during "action", "arcade", or "adventure" type games. I don't particularly like having to purchase new accessories to connect to the "new" "C" connectors for the usability, and the USB 2.0 connectors should be USB 3.o connectors for the increased speed, since they would be backwards compatible anyway. Overall, this is a fine machine with a lot of "upgrades" over the previous models and well worth moving up to. It's a good all around general computer for those who don't like computers, and for those who do but don't like to spend the time "dealing" with computer "issues"! Chromebooks take care of themselves for the most part, keep them fed and clean and occasionally reboot them and there're good to go.
It rebooted last week all on its own. Came up in developer mode, then rebooted again. For some reason this time, it seemed to reset my Chromebook back to factory settings. I lost all my files that I moved over from my old Chromebook.
One major feature. No one can hear us when we use zoom, the audio out is apparently defective.
While on Zoom everything freezes due to CPU capacity even after I have followed all advice to remove apps and close windows.
