[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, the machine has performed exceptionally. Additionally, the machine was delivered ahead of schedule. I would have provided 5 stars if it came with wireless keyboard and mouse. Recommended buy for the price, ease of ordering, and timely delivery.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This HP was simple and easy to setup and use. The all in one is a space saver and a great feature for the small home office. Also having both the SSD and large hard drive gives you the best of both worlds.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just completed setting up the computer a couple of days ago and so far it's everything I hoped it would be. Fast, quiet, and easy to setup. Has all the feastures I need and it was easy to transfer files from my old system.
We've had this HP for about a week. We liked how easily it set up. We love the size of the monitor—we're baby boomers and that helps. Because we had previously had a MAC, it took some adjusting to the different home screen features. We had had HP PCs in the past, but things have changed for the better. We don't like having no option for a CD or DVD. Overall, though, this all-in-one is fairly user friendly. It serves our daily at home purposes.
It's been close to a decade since my last pc purchase. I really didn't know what to expect or really what I needed. This computer is rocket fast and the fact it has 2 hard drives, an ssd for boot and 7200 rpm drive. Start up is 7 seconds. Wow. It's literally as fast or faster than turning on a TV. Performance wise it's a beast. Way more than I need for day to day work activities. My son has played a few games on it and he says it's fantastic. I didn't purchase this as a gaming pc, but if an avid gamer gives it 2 thumbs up, my guess is it's good for that too. Job well done HP Thank you
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great size, love hidden camera lens. Main computer which is part of my dual monitor system since I use it for working remotely. I switched out the wired mouse and keyboard for a wireless system.
I have used iMAC for years for my work in design, photography and video and have recently switched to Windows. They say Apple is better for this kind of work but after trying out an HP Laptop this past year, I am hooked on Windows. I just love the Windows OS so much more, especially when it comes to organizing and saving my work. I just bought this 24" HP All-in-one and it is much faster than I was expecting with a beautiful large display when doing my photo editing. I only gave it 4 stars because I don't know how it will perform a year from now but definitely a lot of value for the price tag!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased an HP All-in-One 24-dp0140z (AMD) a few months back that I was very happy with. When purchasing a second PC to replace an old desktop debate between a second dp00140z or the HP All-in-One 24-df1036xt for the same price. the 1036 has Intel's latest 11th gen processor, which got great reviews and had a dvd, which was critical, but thought it might be useful if I dusted off any of my old disks. When the1036 arrived it looked like the the black "twin" to the silver 00140, but I quickly learned that was not the case. Cons: * Intel df1036 is much slower to start/wake-up, probably because of the dvd drive * 1036 is definitely louder, largely due to dvd drive * IT IS NOT a Touch Screen (my bad for not reading description better) * IT DOES NOT support facial recognition for signing in (Windows Hello) * IT DOES NOT have an extra, conveniently located USB port on the side of the bezel * It still has the same crappy wired mouse/keyboard taking up two of the precious USB slots (HP should offer a reasonable bluetooth combo option) The Intel processor MAY be better then the AMD, but because (most likely) the DVD slows down the PC responsive it is not obvious in "day-to-day" use.
I have had this laptop for a month and for the most part it is a good product. The speed of operation over my old laptop is exceptional. The only problem I continue to have is a background noise that comes on periodically. It is a rustling noise that I can't get rid of and have to hit the mute button. It eventually stops but comes back at least once daily.
The BitLocker recovery key is not available to me. Microsoft doesn't have one for me. I consider myself elderly, not a tech geek. All I wanted was something simple for my wife to use, instead I get something called a BiLlocker. I don't do photos of my mess.
