This computer works well and looks great, it was a great deal along with me not wanting Windows 8, and there are not many choices out there with the older operating system now. The new keyboard was not well made and seemed like a plastic toy, so plan to use a different keyboard and mouse.
Great deal for the price
This is just what I wanted. This is the second one I bought and they both work great.
This computer was very well packaged and looks new. It sometimes freezes up but not very often. Other than that it is running fine.
Overall the product preforms very well. There are a few things to be aware of. One the DVD is NOT read/write, so to back up the computer before use, you will need a device for backing up the system. This is a very important step that you should do before using the system. Two, because it is minimal (operating system only) system, such things as adding Wireless network can be a hassle as many rely on pdf files for documentation. If you do not have Adobe reader already on the computer, you have no way of downloading it. If you cannot download it you cannot complete the wireless installation. So as long as you are prepared for these limitations, it is a very good buy. A USB device overcomes many of these limitations, so get one large enough for backup, and preload it with programs such as Adobe reader, makes the job much easier. Don
The machine has 4MB of ram, 1TB hard-drive, and 3.0GH. It is only a 32 bit processor which caused a few problem when I setting it up and downloaded updates. Once I checked the computer properties more closely I uninstall the files and downloaded the 32 bit files. PS Why do you make the Product Review title box so big if it only takes a finite number of characters? Why don't you tell the reviewer up front how many characters he can enter for the title.
The computer was pre-loaded with adware that pre-set the home page and still had pop-ups and left overs from a previous version of Windows. I was very blessed beyond the average user that both of my sons are well advanced in setting up computers and knew how to get rid of all the added "extras" and leave me what I could use. I would not recommend purchasing a refurbished computer unless you either know yourself how to rid it of the added software, have knowledgeable friends and/or family members or have the economic resources to make your new purchase safe and secure.
I am very disappointed in this purchase I dont know what the deal is with it but the driver keeps crashing saying it needs a vista driver but this is suposed to be a windows 7
