I bought this computer for my husband. He had a laptop that was running really slow. I ordered this because he doesn't really take his laptop anywhere, he sits at the counter and is constantly on the computer. This is great, because it has a bigger screen than his laptop and the fact that it has a DVD player, he will be able to watch DVDs right on the computer. He seems to be enjoying it and has had no complaints. He was able to start using it immediately after setting it up. At first he wasn't sure about the cords for the keyboard and the mouse, but so far has gotten a wireless mouse, not sure if he will change the keyboard to wireless or not.
This was very easy to set up. Works very well. I would like to have had a paper user manual, that would make it so much simplier to find out how some stuff works. This is very different from the last computer I had. But I am very pleased so far. Very good price and was shipped very quickly, less than a week from time I ordered to time I received it.
Easy startup right out of the box. I have Wi-Fi. Even recognized my printer without having to run the disc to connect the two. Still getting used to the Windows 8.1 and all it can do. Have had Windows 7, so its a little different. I like that is doesn't take up a lot of space. Would recommend this unit as a reasonably priced all-in-one desktop.
I like this computer and the price. I use it to run Quickbooks and the internet for a business. No problems so far.
First of all I purchased this PC for a back up, because my other PC got hit by lightning and to let you know HP fixed it for free ( under warranty) :). Well when I received the HP 19 it came in a box that wasn't no bigger than the size of the monitor? So after opening it up every thing was there but the tower, so I figured it was coming in another shipment. As I unpacked the PC the monitor was alittle bigger than usual. To put it all in a nut shell the monitor is the tower. The only problem I have with this PC is it doesn't have enough ram and the processor can not handle face book games ( freezes up). For general applications like E-mail and internet searches its OK.
This is a great system for those who don't want the hassle of all the wires and particulars that come with combining a CPU and a monitor. The HP 19-2113w All-In-One is fast, convenient and easy to learn. I enjoy being able to place it anywhere in my home without the stress of hiding all of the computer extras. The HP comes with online tutorials and ease of start up. If you are someone who is busy and doesn't want to spend hours learning how to accomplish the simplest things with the latest design, you'll love this one.
Purchased this computer for my mom. Nice compact size and fairly easy to set up. Unfortunately it has Microsoft Windows 8.1 which is just as bad if not worse then the brilliant "Vista" invention of the past. Processor is intermittently slow but overall it will suffice if you use your computer for internet and basic other operations.
Computer hardware is excellent. Windows 8 prevents use of pre-ownded software. HP helped me to utilize my all in one printer by downloading appropriate drivers. However, my purchased Microsoft Office including outlook, excel, word, power point is not useable.
in the 12-or 14 days I've owned this thing, it needed to have the operating system reinstalled FOUR TIMES! I don't think that's very good. I called HP customer service tonight (8-24-2014) to get the thing back up. The nice lady at hp did good, and they are going to call me back to see how things worked out. I cannot be the only one who has had problems with this model computer. But being the hardluck kid I am, its not a surprise too me. If I were going to buy another unit, I would not buy this one again. Save your money. Buy something BETTER. Thanx's&goodluck
Window 8.1 is very aggravting. It is more complicated the windows vista. I reccomend getting an older computer with vista or windows 7. I am used to firing up the computer and it going directly to Yahoo and my mail. Windows 8.1 starts by asking for a password and if you forget your password Microsoft says you have to RELOAD windows entirely wiping out all added programs. Also you need to have a windows disk to reload and the WalMart Bundle comes Pre Loaded so there IS no disk to reload. Some computer companies are charging $100 to load Windows 7 instead of 8.1. That may not be a bad Investment untill windows 9 comes out.
