Good Gadget for Rx user. Better screen compare to Palm.
Don't need a smart phone and don't want to pay a $30 monthly data charge. This is the device to own. HP makes a great product. Organize yourself and also connect via wi-fi to the internet.
I have never used a PDA prior to this one. I figured I was in for some very frustrating moments but to my surprise it was so easy to use and has a very long battery life it is easy to handle and a nice clear screen. I just love it.... Compared to others that I researched this was the best value for the money and getting it through walmart save me an add'l ninety dollars........
I needed this handheld PC to compliment my memory (since it seems to be fading with the years). Not only can I keep extended notes on my many contacts, but I can also write as much as I need to about my tasks, appointments, etc. While my husband is using the laptop, I can be plugged into my email. Having access to my Word and Excel documents while on the run, has also made my life simpler. I haven't come across any problems with the functions of the unit (which are absolutely marvelous). The only minor thing I'd change about it is the faceplate, which is very delicate and prone to scratches. Bottom line: I use the unit constantly... it never leaves my side!
I have 4 computers in my desk,, 1 Palm TX, 1Blackberry phone, this HP IPQ210 is the best piece of equipment I ever owned, Incredible performance. If you are a computer person, I really recommend it. HP congratulations.
Took me three weeks to find exactly what I wanted, it meets all my expectations when compare to others, even the one I purchased and sent back
I got this to replace an older 1940 model I had gotten in 2001. It took a saltwater bath recently and didn't survive. I picked it up at my local store and took it back to my office. Plugged it up and charged the battery as directed and powered it up. Right off things seemed a bit odd. The ipaq just didnt want to react like my old one and it was sluggish. After an hour it was time to go for the day so I turned it off and went on. The next morning it would not turn on. I called HP Cust Service and talked to a very nice tech. We got it to turn on but at the OS boot screen it would die. The tech sent me a prepaid shipping box which came the next day. I packed my Ipaq and sent it out that same day and got ready for the 2 week wait, by the way it is Thursday. I tracked it Friday and the box had already made it to Texas to the HP repair facility, Go DHL. Friday just before quittin time I checked the status of the Ipaq at the HP repair site and to my amazement it had already been repaired and was shipped out the same day. Monday, it came in before 10:00 and now it works like a champ. Despite the near DOA I have nothing bad to say about my Ipaq, its better than my old one and HP service was excellent. If you need a handheld for a good price go with this unit. Solid company, great features, works great and service was excellent with HP backing up their warrenty without question or any charge to me at all.
I can't say enough good things about this product. I wanted it to keep track of my busy life. I have programed my family's schedule, my schedule, all of our bills and any other reminder I needed. I have also down loaded medical information for work and school. This is a must have for every professional and mom. I also saved $100 by getting it at walmart. Great price and amazing product!
The IPAQ replaced a much used and loved Dell Axim. It connects to the internet and I went out and traded my air card for a hot spot. I much prefer this to the smartphones. The screen is bigger and much easier to read. And it is backlit unlike most E-readers.
My Palm T3 battery died and I broke the darn thing replacing the battery. So I looked around for something that was newer but would be similar. So far I am lukewarm on the iPAQ. It has locked up on me twice in two weeks (but I think it is a problem with the application I added). The battery does not have a real long life and the display shuts off after thirty seconds of no input, which is a little frustrating. Adding software is easier than it was with the Palm T3 so that is a plus.
