This is my second hp inkjet printer. Both were great machines. They print out quickly and was easy to set up. The ink usually last a good couple hundred of pages. The scan quality is great and I have no complains. It is functional and does the job for scans, copies, and even fax. It connects to my network wirelessly and I can send my print jobs wirelessly. There is also the option to email my print jobs to a designated email address that links up with the printer. Overall I think it's a great printer for the home office.
Following review is on the HP OfficeJet 6954 All-in-One Printer. Being in charge of keeping my household running smoothly means I have to handle multiple projects and for that, I need products that are reliable. The HP OfficeJet 6954 All-in-One Printer has met those requirements. Reasons: * Perfect Size - I really like how this All-in-One printer handles everything: print, fax, scan, copy & web and it's half the size of my previous printer. * Design - It has the top feed scanner/copy/fax, Lift up the top feed for additional scanner/copy, 1 bottom tray, 2 phone line ports, small black and white touchscreen; it's stylish, polished, takes up less space, smart and gives that upgraded finish. * Setup - Very easy takes approximately 5 - 10 minutes to unpack, go through prompts, install ink cartridges (included), wifi setup and download HP Smart & Service Plugin apps. I was up, going and able to print in less than 15 minutes. * Print Quality - Excellent, I printed 2 coloring pages (Halloween) for tomorrow's activity and this little printer is very efficient and images spot on: * Sharp - Edges are clean, no smudges and no smears. * Color - Deep and no discoloration. * User-Friendly- Easy to work with, I did not experience any glitches, complications and the app is easy to navigate. (I'm very satisfied and have no complaints.) Final Thoughts- This is a smart choice, I have enjoyed working with the HP OfficeJet 6954 it's efficient, takes up less space, user-friendly and perfect for household affairs, students or a personal printer at work.
I have worked in an office that has been through many printers over the years and this one was by far the simplest one to set up that I have come across. Set up took less than ten minutes to get connected to all the devices in my home to this printer. Downloading the software is what took the longest for me. I am in love with the sleek black look that matches with my bedroom decor where I have the printer set up. The wireless feature is fantastic so that I can do work in any room or even on my front deck but still send things to print without being plugged into the printer. I volunteer with many organizations having this printer has made any project effortless to accomplish quickly. Loading in the ink was super simple the separation of colors will make replacing a breeze with no waste. The paper is also easy to reload and print time takes only seconds. This HP unit would be great for a family or office with a variety of printing, copying, or faxing needs. I would most definitely recommend this HP printer to anyone needing a high quality fast printer.
this printer is really good, it does printing, scanning, coping and it has a fax machine. they give you a set up instruction paper which is really easy to follow. they also provide an installation disk but I did not need that. follow the directions, because you want to make sure you remove all the packaging materials. it has a touch screen that is easy to see and use. your ink is easy to install no trickery trying to get it in the machine. the color cartridges are separate cartridges, so yellow, blue and pink are all separate and black too. the machine tells you where to insert each cartridge so easy! they are full of ink and when I opened the pink I got a little on my hands so be careful of that. the plain paper is inserted in the bottom pull out tray, you will need to print a page to align your scanner. I noticed that the printer gave a different setup web page, on it's touchscreen, than the paper. do not listen to the printer the installation paper is the correct web address. when you set up online, you can set up your computer to print and also your cell phone. your printer will be given it's own email account too. I suggest downloading the HP app from the app store, it's so easy to print from your phone. the printing itself is fast and crisp, definitely a great printer, and I like the fact that the color cartridges are separate. it is a little on the bigger side. so make sure you have enough room for this printer. I am really impressed with the ease of set up, and the easy use of this printer.
I am a gigantic HP Printer fan. I have owned many of them. My last one lasted almost 2 years before it decided to have printing problems. I was smart enough to buy protection through Walmart and it covered my purchase. This new one works fantastic! One complaint that I have with HP Office jets is that the pictures are not very good quality. This has better picture quality. It does go through ink easily. I hate that, but, all printers do. It uses 4 ink cartridges, instead of 2. This means your ink cost 4 times more that the other office jets. That is OK because, the picture is better. This is wifi or you can plug just about any electronic into it and print. It also will print from your cell phone.You can get all of the downloads you need through HP to make your printer work for you any way you want it to. Bottom line, you will love this printer over all of HP office jets. This one is much better! I love it.
We had a monochrome USB HP laserjet printer forever but will all school projects these days that require to print in color we decided to go with this HP all in one inkjet printer. Installation was a breeze, removed all tape and extra stuff, turn the printer on and inserted the 4 cartridges per instructions, connected it to the wifi during the quick wizard setup that showed up on the printer's little screen and we were ready. The easiest way to get the printer installed on your Windows 10 machine is to get the HP Smart app from the store. The app will scan your network and it will find the HP printer and install the drivers. I like what HP did and created an email address for the printer so you save the email address in your Contacts you can print anytime from anywhere by email it your HP printer, it will print the attachment you send or whatever is in the body of the email. Printing comes out very crisp and colors are bright full and true to the color after the tests I did on regular and photo paper. You can scan from any device that has the HP Smart installed or from the device itself and the scans come out very clear at 150 dpi. We are very happy getting this HP all in one.
The first printer I ever owned was an old pre-owned dot matrix back in the early 90's. Since then, I've gone through more printers than I'd care to count and I always come back to HP. There's just something about HP printers that outshines all the rest. This HP OfficeJet 6954 All-in-One Printer is a great example of why. There's also a USB and ethernet port to access files with. Setup was a breeze and only took a few minutes to figure out. It comes with a black ink cartridge and a color ink cartridge so you can start printing immediately. The cartridges are high-yield to produce 25x more pages. It has automatic duplexing to consume up to 50% less paper. It's also super fast with black ink printing up to 16 ppm (pages-per-minute) and color ink printing up to 9ppm to help handle big projects without slowing down. The scan and copy feature works beautifully, too. I've scanned in numerous documents, bills, and old photos without issue. It really makes going digital a breeze. The fax feature is brilliant and it works pretty much the same way as the scan and copy feature, only you add a recipient to send to. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this printer and would highly recommend it to others. HP has been in business for a long time and there's a good reason for that. You simply can't go wrong with an HP!
I initially had an Epson printer..honestly I didn't like it at all! The ink runs out soo fast! I was buying too much ink and didn't really print that much! I stopped buying the ink and was planning on getting a new printer! Thankfully I got this one through the spark Reviewer program! I love it! I've printer out photos and more..ink still is full! I would definitely recommend this printer!
This is a really nice printer that has a lot to offer. It is fairly large. Make sure you have a desk big enough to put it on. I love that it is wireless. It easily prints from my laptop or phone. Printing documents is a breeze for this printer. I did have some problems printing out full size pictures. I printed the same picture twice and both times the ink made weird lines at the bottom. (I attached an image to show what happened.) It has a scanner, copier and fax machine. I will mostly just use this for printing. Besides printing large pictures, it has proven to be very capable of what I need it for.
The HP Office Jet 6954 is a great device to have a mini home office. This device prints, scans and faxes with ease. I have a WINDOWS 10 laptop and I had no issues setting it up direct with a USB cable. I did not set up the wireless printing feature. I did read the other people had issue with this. I did not have a problem plugging it in with the cable and downloading the software from the HP website. The feature I find most handy is the scanning. I have been able to scan and also print important copies of documents. We don't do much faxing in our household but I was able to use it to fax something to our doctor's office. Set up did not take long and within minutes I was able to fax, print and scan. I found too that the ink was not that expensive for toner replacements. I found them to be somewhere in the middle price range. Printers now, make their money on toner in cartridges. HP is a standard printer brand. No issues with my Windows laptop, 10.
