I brought this computer at a local Walmart about a week ago. I love it. I have used HP for years, though I never had a notebook made by them. I would never go back to anything eles. Customer support is great. I had it only a few hours and locked myself out (by forgetting the password) I called them and the problem was solved. I would also like to say the Window 7 is the best they have come out with to date. I would recommend this computer to anyone I know.
I spent a year looking for a good laptop...and I finally found it. This Laptop works great...But the only neg. thing is the web cam...when you click on it, its fine but than when you watch your videos and want to come back to the web cam the cam takes long to come back on. But other than that is GREAT!!
I was shocked when I saw the exact same laptop at best buy for $300 more than walmart; I returned my laptop to best buy got my money back and bought the same one at walmart. The keys come off easily but great for homework assignments and 6 hours of battery is what I need for a long day at school.
For the short time that I have been using this laptop I would give it an excellent rating. I like the keyboard, but rather use a mouse than the pad; although the pad is handy when traveling. The pad seems to take more time than the mouse. I like be able to hook into the internet without being attached to wires. I have not used the webcam yet, but I am glad I have it being most of my family lives quite a distant away. So far I think the laptop is a great buy and I am happy to own it. I like having the internet coming up in just a few seconds.
Well, I have been looking a buy a laptop for a few years and I have been putting it off. I fought with myself over which one to buy. I could not decide between a HP and Dell, because they were within my price range. Well, I asked about 100 people and they pretty much all reccommended the HP, saying it was a much better computer. So- I listened and bought this computer. I wanted a nice computer with Windows 7 already installed. The Windows 7 is awesome by the way. This computer is very nice. It has a large, very clear screen, great sound through the speakers, user friendly, etc. I say that you will be very pleased if you buy this computer. I am.
I bought this laptop last week and I love it. I had another one which I paid twice as much for and it had less features than this. My mother now has that one. This laptop works great for doing my college homework assignments, for homeschooling my nephew, and for building my web sites and doing my graphic design work.
This is an amazing laptop. I was lucky enough to get it in a bundle on black friday. It came with this laptop, hp mini mouse, carrying case, flash drive, and printer. AMAZING DEAL FOR $800. Even if I wouldn't of got the laptop in the bundle, I have looked at many other place, i.e. Best Buy, and nothing compares. The laptop is so sleek, and easy to use. If you are looking for a great laptop, THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT. ***purchase the hp mini mouse. It makes life easier then using the laptop mouse pad, and although it says mini, I was so suprised, it wasn't that mini. Just a little smaller than a regular mouse.
I bought this for my sister. She is in her late 60s, so technology cannot be involved. I only buy HPs. This is her first laptop and experience with wifi. She reports to me that she finds the laptop easy to use. So after a week, she is comfortable with it. Directions were easy to follow for set up.
More than meets expectations
I thought this was a great laptop...for the three days it operated. On the fourth day it had a "catastrophic failure" that 4 hours on the phone with HP support and several days in two different computer repair shops could not fix. I had no problem exchanging it for a more expensive model that is still working great on day five !! Hopefully this was an isolated problem.
