This is a great computer for the money. Fast, easy set up, the Windows 7 is a nice change from Vista (which initially wasn't problematic but became more so over time). I got this computer as a replacement for my kids. Monitor went to one kid, CPU went to another. They're both happy.
I can't believe I got such a great deal on this computer with a 20 inch monitor. My kids will be doing alot for me now with this exceptional system. The new Windows 7 is by far the best that Microsoft has put out to date. There are so many programs loaded on this computer. The media center is going to be so easy to set up so they can watch cable TV through it as well. The clarity of the Monitor surpassed my old monitor. The colors are so brilliant and bright that I had to turn down the brightness and contrast of it. LOL When I opened the box to see what all I would need to do to set it up, I didn't need any instructions, because Hewlett Packard again makes this so easy a child could do it and have their favorite internet page up and running in less than 10 mins. But as always the instructions were there for the computer and monitor hook ups. WTG Walmart, HP and Microsoft for a great system at a price that even I couldn't afford to pass by.
i yust got this computer and had no problems with it it was a good price it fast windows 7 64 bit is so nice it has a nice hp screen the nvidia graphics is good this is a good computer i recomend everone to get this

Great unit for the money. Just started using it bu it is very fast and I love the 20" screen. It seems much larger than the 19" Samsung I have at home. Overall I am very happy with it.
Purchased the HP Pavilion Slimline p6243w Desktop PC on Black Friday. I also purchased the Windows 7 transfer cord. In very short time on Friday morning had transferred all my settings, favorites in three browswer and data to new computer from my old HP. Hooked up cable modem. I had everything registed and full functional in 2 hours. Everything works as well or better than expected from low end computer. Happy customer!
