I'm pretty much an honest person so I hope u trust my review. I am a 65yr old gmom/ who also helps seniors get started learning about the internet and I do remote repairs for a lot of friends! I'm just still young in mind through God's grace! I already purchased this same computer about 2 yrs. ago. I HAVE NEVER HAD ONE PROBLEM! My son who is 50yrs. old finally decided to buy a computer. He noticed that I didn't have problems and asked me to find one for him. So, I bought the same one for him (he paid me ofcourse). He is loving it. Had no problem with the product key although I had to explain to him how to install a couple things. This computer is tops!!! NO JOKE Be blessed!!
I had been a long-term user of Windows XP and when Microsoft quit supporting XP many things on my old computer didn't work. This refurbished HP came loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium and I have been very happy with it. It was an easy change from XP to Windows 7, most of the look and feel is quite similar. Nice computer, remarkably good price.
It works very good, worth the money.
This Was Exactly What I expected...A Refurbished HP Computer. Outer shell Was A Bit Worn, But Not Too Bad. Computer Works Great...Windows 7 And Price WEre Main Selling Points.
I had purchased a different Pre-Owned Desktop and it was great! So when I needed a 2nd computer I thought I would give it another try. We have had noting but problems with this one. There appears to be a password on it that we can not figure out. After hours of frustration I finally had to take it to a computer tech to be reformatted. Would not recommend this to anyone.
I was on the phone yesterday with Joysystems. The main problem with this computer was that when I tried installing updates, they ALWAYS fail. Many of them are security related updates. When I first bought it, I had a guy on the phone for almost 5 hours while he tried unsuccesfuly to try and install them. They sent me their version of WIN 7 to reinstall the OS. They said I had a defective version. Yesterday, the guy I talked to told me right away, go to Microsoft and find out why the updates won't install. Does he think I haven't ALREADY done that? Joysystems told me they rebuild all of the refurbished computers Walmart sells. Bottom line: If you have money to burn- buy a Joysystems refurbished computer. My recommendation is wait until you have saved the money and buy new! I'm on disability and wasted my money on this piece of junk. It is going to take me a year to save up for a new one. I saw the glowing reviews. I'm skeptical of their authenticity. I wouldn't recommend anything from Joysystems EVER!
I bought for my wife for Christmas and did not set it up until march/2015.It was not a week and it started turning itself off by itself in the middle of the night.Then it would not turn on anymore and load windows.Called hp customer support and they said its refurbished and there is no warranty on this item.Tech support said based on the 5 beeps it makes the motherboard took a DUMP.......bottom line.......JUNK,GARBAGE,****
