I bought 2 of these and I am very happy. I have been building computer systems since before the PC came out and I have to say I am impressed with what you get for the money. Unless you need a hi-end gaming system, this is a great computer for anything you need a computer for. For $105, I am very happy! :)
This computer is just great .it performs well its nice and the price for it can not be beat .i feel its a great buy if you are looking for a refurbished computer.i ordered it and with in a few days i was emailed to come and pick it up at my closest walmart .now you can have it shiped to your home if thats what you choose to do .i had mine sent to my closest store free of charge .and it was great.so dont be afraid to buy a refurbished computer . this one is great.I give it a 10.
if all you are using this computer for facebook and to check email well this is a computer for you... but if your like me where this is all you can afford well this is for you...but if u plan to game or do any thing elese i would buy the more expensive computers :p
ok just set it up. not bad for what i need it for. runs good, max out memory at 4gb and you have a smooth running pc. the purple keyboard port is broken so im stuck with the bulky usb keyboard that came with it. if you just wanna surf the web and play youtube vids this pc will work but thats about it.
I ordered a refurbished desktop pc and for the price it is great. The tower lays flat not like my old one that stood upright. I would by refurbished products again from Wal Mart. I also purchased a 2yr. warranty that was offered. I am happy to have a computer again.
I ordered this computer to replace an old computer. I chose refurbished because I figured that it was just barely used before, and it was checked by trained professionals to make sure it is good to sell again. It had some scratches on it, but for what I paid for it, it was worth the price. The only thing that I did not like was that the description says you get a mouse and keyboard. I did not receive a mouse, and the keyboard was so cheap it did not work with the computer. I did not buy it for the keyboard and mouse, so I did not mind it. The computer runs great. It is pretty fast for what I use it for. I just get online with it, and check e-mails. This was a steal for the price.
When I purchased this computer I didn't realize it didn't have a DVD burner. Other than that and it being a little loud when browsing websites (the fan is loud when it comes on) the computer worked fine. I think this would be perfect for children. I returned mine and purchased one with the DVD burner.
The computer was shipped in a timely manner. I had my son install it and unfortunately, it did not work. He checked several things and found out the hard drive was bad. This was very disappointing as I had ordered this to be a surprise for my husband. We did contact the service department of the company that refurbished the computer and shipped it to us and they are suppose to be shipping us a new hard drive. I just hope this one works. Until the computer is running and I know everything works on it, I am not happy. Next time I will just buy a new computer from someplace that I know it will work when I get it.
Had to return the tower for I got it to work for the first day and that is it. When turned off the computer it did the Windows Update. Turned on the tower the next day and it would not go on the internet and kept asking to load new hardware to which was already pre-installed onto the computer. I tried reloading the Windows XP program onto the tower and had no luck and could not find the correct driver to load the hardware the computer said that was added. No book was included and the hours of operation for the refurbished computer was a joke for it is during the time that I am not home. Could not get on the computer to even email the company to get it fixed and have to use a computer at work to write this review. Next time get a non refurbished computer for at least they have all the necessary discs/cd to reload any drivers needed to get the computer to work.
I bought this product last week and received it yesterday. I work with computers so I'm fairly savy when it comes to setting it up. It did not work out the box. As soon as I set it up it gave me the blue startup screen and would not go past that. I called Joy Systems, who the warranty is through, and they were very nice, but told me that I needed to return the computer. I will not be replacing this. It was a waste of time and shipping cost. Walmart should do better in making sure the products they provide actually work. Even if it is refurbished.
