It is very quiet, which was my main gripe with my old unit. It's fast and handles everything I do on-line very well. This is my third reconditioned computer and may be the best. I am very satisfied with every facet of my purchase.
Work great
I would recommend this to anyone
Bought for extra computer for my son. It is an upgrade from windows 98 for him. However is needed a whole days worth of updates when I opened it. , once you get past that it seems to be working well. Of course this is only day 4 so we will see. It works well for what he uses it for. If you are looking to game on this it is not the computer for you. It is ok on fb and youtube after you update it. No major problems so far.
Worked fine during the setup. The next day the hard drive crashed so I had to return it.
This is my 4th refurbished PC from Wal-Mart/Joy Systems. The first two were fine. The 3rd looked like it was just thrown in the box and shipped. The keyboard was not in a box and one of the keys were missing. Found it later in the bottom of the box and put it back on. So, on to this one. It was packaged securely, however the ESC key was off. It was in the keyboard box and I re-inserted it ok. Next, I put the PC on my work bench but it did not turn on at first. I had to hit the button 3 times for it to "stick/click" and stay on. No other button problems after that. But, then the unit just shut off. I turned it back on (no problem) and it ran for a while longer. It would always shut off though after a period of time, every time notifying me that it shut down unexpectedly. Eventually, I just took it back to Wal-Mart and they refunded my money. Me and Joy Systems had a short run, but I can't deal with the chance of stuff not working. I have since plugged in another PC that a customer upgraded from and began refurbishing it myself. No issues. I believe the power supply on the Wal-Mart/Joy Systems unit will need to be replaced.
