Finally have joined the 21st century and purchased a smart phone. No regrets with this one. It's a great phone for a no-contract plan. Only negative thing is that I can't figure out how to turn off the start up noise when you turn on the phone. Anyway, very good phone for the $$$.
Great phone for the money, after reading reviews, it met all my expectations. Runs all apps well, battery use good if you watch the apps, (like all smart phones). Light weight, just right for what I need it for. Oh, and it actually works well as a phone too!
This is a great phone using the Sprint network. My schedule and email are now available wherever I am - great work tool. I received the phone two days after ordering it - fast service.
This phone is pretty well loaded for the price. It's Google/Android phone with tons of apps and room for tons more. Camera is excellent! The full-size touch key pad is great. 'Not as likely to fat-finger unless, well... you have fat fingers. No offense. If you're like me and you don't talk a lot and have a million "friends", the unlimited Virgin Mobile plans are awesome. You get anywhere from 300 minutes to 1500, to unlimited talk time all the while your texting, and internet is unlimited with all plans -I don't think this phone let's you sign up for the PayLo options though. This phone cost only a fraction of the price of the more popular iPhones/Androids and is equally as good ..unless you are one of those geeky know-it-all types who have tried everything have to have everything perfect.. this phone lets you watch movies, it has a tilt sensor, GPS, maps, Chat, ongoing weather updates, email, ... you can put Etsy, Ebay, Facebook, Angie's List , USPS, Pinterest, your bank app and tons more.. I'm in love and did not have to spend 600 or even 400 dollars to catch up with the rest of the trending world.
Really nice responsive phone but its single core cpu limits it on performance but a few ram optimizers and/or task killers fix that. camera gets 7/10 which is sill good and htc sense 4.0 ui is very nice and easy on the eyes.
My old phone ( android 2.2 ) had a stroke whe it saw what the new android 4.0.1 cans do, so I had to put it out of its misery, I buried it in the back yard, may it rest in pices!!! BTW do I get a gift card even tho I braught it a few days befor the offer?
I am so happy with this phone. I am getting pretty much the same features as my son who has an IPhone, but instead of paying $90 a month, I only pay $35 with Virgin Mobile. My only complaint is that it wasn't revealed until I purchased the phone that I had to then buy a sim card separately. This added another $20 to the purchase price, but at $149 to begin with, it wasn't too big a pill to swallow. I am still learning how to use all the neat features, but am really enjoying learning. Would definitely purchase this phone again.
Its a nice cheap phone for simple users. Feels good in hand, nice builded. Will recomend to someone who use phone for txt, call and light Internet browsing. Some features I still didn't figure out or they maybe missing (or maybe I just feel so since eam switching from extreemly user friendly Nokia however I own Samsung tablet witch runs same OS so most of stuff is very easy). I do not give 5 stars because the signal is not to good at my home (and my house is on the hill in the busy part of the city).
I bought my HTC One V about a month ago from Walmart. Honestly, when I was looking, I thought that I was purchasing the HTC Evo V, so someone needs to correct the misspelling of the phone name for the Walmart website from "HTC Ove V" to "HTC One V". I was originally going to return the phone and get the HTC Evo V, as my wife has one and likes that phone. But I figured it would be a good idea to just keep the phone that I had purchased and see how well it worked for me. I haven't had any problems with it so far, and even though it is still a 3G phone and not 4G, it works quite well with the latest version of Android on it. The Beats Audio speaker and functionality is also a bonus, as I have plenty of music on my phone. The only true drawback is that the phone does not come with a micro SD card, but I had a spare 8GB micro SD which seems to be doing me very well for space. The lack of a menu button is also a bit of a drawback, but you can easily access everything you need to quickly with this phone anyway even without it. You can't take the back off to get to the battery either, but the phone has a long battery life anyway. It can also be extended with one of the many different battery life apps there are. The camera on the phone also works really well and takes decent quality pictures and video, and the flash on it is excellent for dark spaces. And with that, if you download one of the many different flashlight apps there are in the Google Play Store, your phone can double as a flashlight and it will be bright as I almost blinded myself testing it out. All and all, I'm satisfied with the phone and will keep it for a while, I'm actually glad I didn't return it.
To be perfectly honest I think I purchased the wrong product. I wanted the Virgin Mobile HTC EVO 4G but I ordered the HTC OVE V. The reason I wanted the HTC EVO 4G was for the front camera and the Built in (Hot Spot) which the HTC OVE V does not have. Other than that I think the phone is good and has a great clear picture and setup.
