Thank you Walmart for shipping this item to me. I'm really stoked about this product. I have no issues with it. All the new updates are seemingly correcting issues for when it first came out. Graphics are great, the gaming library is huge. HTC is a good brand. I believe in the near future VR will be just like the movie Ready Player One. Must Check out.

I haven't got it yet says it will be here Jan 3, so this may change but since it had only one review I wanted to say my piece. I currently own the Samsung odessy plus, I have owned the rift, rift s, Vive, and ps vr. Most of these reviews say there is better vr than this, I couldn't disagree more. The rift s has no head phones for starter, it is pretty comfortable and def has better visuals than the rift orginal. It does not however have better visuals than the odseey plus, which is 229, it does have better tracking though, but not to justify the price difference. The odseey has really good headphone on it, so to compare you would need 70 dollar head phones making it almost 500. You could get the quest and odessy I suppose, for the same price as the Vive cosmos, but the quest has worse tracking and looks like garbage. The cosmos on the other hand has the same tracking maybe better I don't know as the rift s. Now add in the Vive cosmos can be wireless, which is a huge difference. You cannot make the wire long enough for any of the head sets with out a powered booster. Then add in you can put a 2.0 Vive tracker on the cosmos and use the value index controllers. You cannot do that with any other head set. I am gonna take mine outside and use the inside out tracking and wireless and be free haha, can't wait for nicer weather. I plan on making a spot in my field to the max range of the wireless from my side by side that has a generator. Then when I come back, I can just switch to the base stations and index controllers and have the best tracking you can get. So the Vive is like Intel and ryzen. Yes the rift is kinda close, but like ryzen it is still way behind Intel. Ryzen is cheaper though as is the rift. To get the wireless, tracking stations, index controllers, we are talking alot. The entire thing cost 2000 plus tax. Then you need a 2000 dollar computer to actually use it, with the ability to go outside with it. So if you don't have a generator you would need a 3000 dollar laptop. So yep if you are looking for cheap this is not the way.

Good Vr but not as good as index. The Controllers are very outdated. Will be upgrading as I go but I bought this as a entry level device. It performs well and outside tracking is almost always better than inside out. The sweet spot is hard to get the headset to stay in and I think the flip up feature is at fault for this. I'll probably add a strap on each side to keep better headset position as I don't use the flip up feature anyway.

It does a little bit less than it's supposed to and at a higher cost than the Oculus. Also, I have to say, the tracking is very bad. I've watched reviews where the devs say how great the tracking is, but they never actually test it on something like beat saber (where my sabers end up flying all over the place to the point of unplayability). The only reason I bought this was because I didn't believe that the tracking was as terrible as everyone said, and it was available on an affirm payment plan. If I could go back and do it again, I would either pay less and get the Oculus, or pay more for the Valve Index. I've been very impressed interacting with people who use the Index and legitimately wish I would have just sprung for the better option. TLDR: Disappointing product, bad tracking. Save money and get a better product like the Oculus, or spend more and get a significantly better product with the Valve Index.

Bad at this price against Rift S and Valve Index

This product is definitely something I would consider absolutely dreadful only when you compare it to other VR products because on it's own. It's okay? The biggest issues you'll find will be in the tracking. In order for this to work right you will need a well lit room and PLENTY of things lying around to be used as "landmarks" for the trackers, if anything falls short of this, it will be a borderline unusable experience. I would strongly recommend either a Rift S for entry level VR or a Valve Index for Enthusiast grade. All in all, there are much better options available.
