Just perfect to detect fish and lures too !! I love it
Funny I did not think I would like it but it was fantasitc
The item is nice and big enough to provide a good picture of the water below the boat. This is the first unit that I was actually able to locate fish with. The Chirp sonar is great. Mega imaging is also nice. Much better than their earlier units. Easy to use. I really like the clock. Initially I thought that was an odd thing to have on the unit but I use it frequently. Water temp is also important. I did not like the mounting hardware, so I made my own custom mounts. I would recommend the mega units to anyone. The 7 inch unit is large enough to see what you need to see. Of course larger is always better but if you are on a budget, the 7 inch units will not dissapoint.
