I really like this chili it's a little hot for me so the next time I used it I put very little spice you can always add more to your taste but the whole package is way to hot for me otherwise it's got good flavor
This was a spur of the moment decision when doing grocery pickup and thinking of simple meals, and I'm so glad we got it. We have tons a venison meat and this worked perfect with it! I did add some more seasonings I already had, but this is a GREAT dinner option for the colder months. We will be buying more to stock up!
My husband and I love this chili. Unfortunately our Walmart stopped carrying it for some reason. I don't understand why they did this. It seemed to be a popular item.
This chili is incredible. There are no words. Especially with winter and fall approaching. Thank me later. Add a little seasoning to flavor it up a bit and when it's done, sprinkle a little cheese and a pinch of salt. Heaven. It's so good, when they stopped selling them we went to three Walmart's to find it with no luck. Got to order online luckily.
These are great when I can find them! The price is incomparable in my opinion for the amount you get (considering 3 boxes), they're easy to put together, you can use the basic seasoning packet or change it up, make it with any meat or meatless. When I start stocking up on heavier hot meals for winter, especially things that are easier for the days I am not as mobile as I would like, I always try to have these in the cupboard.
It's a Hunt's product, so whats not to like about it. I found this 1 time at our local Walmart and no where else in the area, so online I go. It makes a great Chilli. Very little spice to it, so you can add your own if you like. Great after a cold hard day at work.
Makes amazing turkey chili. You can use beef, chicken but for a great chili that is better for you, use 95/5 turkey and it will turn out well. The kit made enough for 3 people to be filled up when eating with oyster crackers by nabisco. Makes a great meal. It says cooks in 20 minutes but if you cook it 30 the flavor blend better. Definitely will buy again.
I love his chili kit, it has everything you need in the box so there is no having to get anything but ground beef. The spice packet flavors it just right!. My Walmart does not carry it so I have to drive pretty far to another Walmart that does have it, so it was just as easy to order it online.
Really wanted to give this product 5 stars but didn't because I modify and ad lib to the recipe. Super handy chili starter! I like to add some additional beans and even other seasoning, sometimes cutting back on the included seasoning which I still like. Try adding some white beans and Cento brand Tomato Purée to make the mix go further. Sometimes I leave the single can of tomato sauce included out and use another day. Have purchased many times! Very grateful for it.
This kit has the beans and the seasoning pack. Tastes pretty good, but better if you make your own. Way overpriced for what you get. Will buy separately next time.
