I purchased this surge protector for my husband to use in the shed as it had one of the highest joule ratings of the items under $20 that were on the shelf. When I got it home and he checked it out I was instantly a hero. He found it to be well designed and manufactured. This surge protector has been used to run several tools every day since he received it. The performance has been flawless. We would confidently recommend this item to everyone.
HAVING A 10 FT CORD HELPS ME PLACE IT WHERE NEEDED WITHOUT EXTENSION CORDS. 2 USB PORTS ARE A NICE FEATURE. I HAVE CONVERTED ABOUT 95% TO USING LED BULBS VS INCANDESCENT OR CFL LIGHTING. A GREAT CHOICE FROM A GREAT VENDOR HAVING CHOICES.
This was a great buy for my office room at home. My boyfriend and I both use gaming PC's. There's only one 3-prong outlet in that room though. At night, I just flip the switch to the off position so I don't have to worry about extra power being used up.
Very good. I live in an older house and some of the outlets will turn off if you anything above a certain level of electricity. I plugged this extension cord in and I can plug in my air conditioner without it going off. Good temporary fix until I can fix the outlets. It's heavy duty, come with 2 USB slots. Plenty of outlets to use, great quality. It's worth the price, for sure. Also a great length.
this thing was the perfect replacement for my older sets I had in the house so far it did was it was supposed to do after the last storm and power kicked out on us.
Love it! Provides excellent current to my computers and phones. Not just for workshop--use it at home office too to protect equipment. Has lights to tell you it is working. LONG 10 foot cord! Yes! Does not get hot either. Yellow so you always see it and don't step on it.
Liked that this has 8 outlets and 2 USB ports. It is exactly what I was wanting for my garage. Nice that the cord can wrap and hang when not using. Works great. No issues.
Must have in garage/shop, or for safety in your home. This will provide much more protection than other power strips because it comes with a circuit breaker, is metal, and comes with a higher joule rating. Nothing can replace having an electrician check your home wiring, though.
Highly identical color with 2 usb inputs for charging phone, mp3 speaker etc. The cord is about 10ft. the plug versatile as it fits sideways to the socket. The shape or design enabled me to easier fasten this unit to my wire shelving unit with zip ties.
I bought three of these at the same time. one of them appears to receive power but none of the outlets work. I tried to return it but Walmart would not accept my return even to exchange it for a working one. Does anyone know how to work on these?
