This is a very useful solar powered light that really lights up a dark corner in our yard. It us very easy to install and all the necessary hardware is included. We installed it over our backyard gate, which hopefully, might deter a person from entering our backyard uninvited. I would recommend this product to a friend.
I love this solar light. It has really improved our night view in our back yard. We live in a very wooded area and it's very dark at night with not other lights near by. This light makes it easy to take out the dog or bring in the cats in the evening. It has a large solar panel that is in the sun for a short period of time durning the day and doesn't take much to keep the light lit at night. It has two large lights that are fully adjustable and will illuminate a large area. The buttons include one for length of time and one for sensitivity. I made it more sensitive to light up when the cats come to the back door to get in. I've had other solar lights that didn't work at all, but this one is great!
This was a first I have never had a security light around my home. So I decided to get one and have it installed on the back patio if for nothing else at least it will light up the back yard. After my husband installed it and I saw how it worked and how it lit up the area it was kind of nice. I'm always hearing noises in the yard and never knew what it was I just assumed it was an animal, and now I can see what kind of animal it is.It took my husband about 2 hours to install it and set it up. The motion sensor has three setting and both the lights and motion sensor are adjustable so you can select which area you want to light up when activated. The lights are 1500 lumen power which lights up a very large area. The power source is two rechargeable batteries and when you need to recharge, it has a solar panel you plug into the unit. The batteries last quite awhile because you can set the duration you want the lights to stay on 30, 60, 120 sec. I am really glad I got this light, now it makes sitting on the patio at night a little less scary, and now I be able to see what's going to get me.. I would recommend this product to everyone because a little peace of mind at this time goes a long way.. Stay Safe.
So happy i got to test this product. i have wanted a light for our front yard for years but didnt want to pay the expense of having an electrician come out to wire the house. this solar light was a simple solution and easy to install. It has 4 screws that secure the base of the light and screws to secure the solar panel. we live in texas so plenty of sun avalible and it was working same day installed. I will say a concern of mine would be hail but i will take my chances. the light itself is a soft light but does make an impact. honestly glad its not brighter so my neighbors wont be annoyed. definitely would recommend.
When the Spark team offered this for review I jumped at the chance to request it. My husband and I are planning on buying a different home and this is perfect for above the door on our outer storage building, though it would look and work mighty fine over our carport where we live now. This is from Hyper Tough, a name I'm familiar with and like very much. The solar powered lights are 2000-lumen which I didn't know what that meant and I found it is the equivalent of 125 watts though one description said 100 watts. The lights are LED which I also like as we are slowly converting every light in our home to LEDs. It is motion activated up to 45 ft which is a nice distance to cover. When I first received this, the instructions recommended charging the solar panel up to 3 days. There is a 15 ft cord to attach to the security light and also included in the mounting hardware. AND the light adjusts very easily so you can position the directions of each light to your preference. The motion detector part works very well when we tested it and boy, is it Bright! There are two included rechargeable batteries. And included in an easy to follow instruction pamphlet. All in all, a very cool item. Works well, seems durable and very well made. I am very pleased with it. Give it a try for your home...
My husband put these lights up as soon as we got them. We put them in the backyard next to a Dome home and they really light up the yard! They help a lot when the neighbors cats come over, snooping around in the dark, because the light scares them away because of the motion sensor function of them. They are fairly heavy, and seem well made, and only took about twenty minutes to install. They are great and have really made my former dark backyard super bright! You should try these motion lights !
The lights are super sensitive, and that's just what we wanted. We installed on a dark corner of our house, and now we plan on replacing the two we have up front with this same brand. We kind of figured out a balance of time and sensitive by using the control switches to the best setting for our needs. The longest time is 120 seconds and we finally settled on 60 seconds, and medium detection. The lights are very illuminating, bright enough for a really dark corner. We don't get this type of brightness with our other motion lights. We decided to change our older motion lights to the Hyper Tough for better security. Installation was super easy. We followed the instructions exactly, and let the batteries solar charge for 3 days. Hardware is included, but my husband decided to use higher grade screws; although the screws included will work fine I think. We had some really strong winds a few days ago, that definitely put the lights to their test. But they worked perfectly and the system held up like a champ through 60 mile an hour winds. Highly recommend!
I wanted to try out this "Solar Power Battery Operated Auto-Sensor Outdoor Light" because it's super dark in my driveway and I don't feel very safe when pulling in to my garage or walking out in my driveway. Especially if I have to unload groceries or do anything that takes additional time. I was so pleasantly surprised by not only the quality of this light but also how well it works! My husband said it was easy to install, as well. I now feel VERY safe! Any time anyone walks by or drives in to our driveway, it shines nice and bright & there they are in the spotlight! It comes with a rechargeable solar power battery, which is great, so you don't ever have to worry about changing a battery or the light not working due to the battery going dead. I can't believe how reasonably priced this light is for what you get, too. I would DEFINATELY recommend this light to anyone who doesn't have a lot of money to spend but needs/wants a good quality Solar Power Battery Operated Auto-Sensor Outdoor Light. They won't be disappointed!
This works great! I placed it outside our side door because that area is very dark at night. When I work late I don't have to worry because the motion detector turns on as soon as I pull into the driveway. Installation was super simple and setting it was a breeze. I would definitely recommend.
I really like the light and how good it works couldn't get a good picture of it after it was put up and I tried it out. I definitely recommend it. It lights up a lot of space for you to make sure you see everything and would know if someone or anything was outside
