The HyperX Cloud Alpha S keeps the best parts of the original, groundbreaking Cloud Alpha, but with additional enhancements and features. Cloud Alpha S features custom-tuned HyperX virtual 7.1 surround sound delivered through its advanced USB audio control box. Bass adjustment sliders have been added to the ear cups so you can fine-tune the bass level of your audio. You can adjust audio volume, mic volume, mute the mic, activate 7.1 and now even adjust the game audio/chat balance on the audio control box. The Cloud Alpha S still features the revolutionary dual-chamber driver system which reduces distortion and provides clearer sound, as well as the signature HyperX comfort afforded by the memory foam ear cushions and extra breathable leatherette. Virtual 7.1 surround sound effect output as a 2 channel stereo signal to be used with stereo headphones.

I'm a 56 yr old computer gamer. I have had many headphones and these are by far the most comfortable I've ever had. sound is phenomenal, microphone is top quality, 7.1 surround is amazing. I can't believe the things I can hear in game. the enemy no longer sneaks up on me. I'm sold on HyperX for life.
great headset but mine came used with no box. buyers beware if you want new mine was used but never said it was in the description
I bought these as a gift. The look as if they were used! The original package (box) was not in the shipping box, the cables were all unfolded and nothing was sealed. Everything seems to be working ok, but I have nothing to return to the manufacturer if there is an issue over the year. Nothing to show UPC or manufacture information! I am not happy!
These were advertised as new. When they arrived in a generic brown box and internal packaging, it was obvious they were a refurbished or used item. Not a big deal unless you planned on giving them as a gift. Not cool. Sent them back and ordered new ones on Amazon.
No Where in the discussion dose it say refurbished or used. I don't like using other people's headphones. if I wanted to buy a used pair actually went on Facebook marketplace and spent $50.

***IMPORTANT*** THESE ARE NOT NEW HEADPHONES. This is for the vendor Worldwide Supply. So, as mentioned above, these are actually refurbished headphones, even though that is mentioned exactly zero times in the item's description. These are not new. You do not get them in a box. What arrives are two sealed baggies - one with the headphones, the rest with the accessories. No instruction booklet included (yeah, I know, instruction booklet for headphones, but these things do come with buttons for Game Balance and Chat Balance, as well as 7.1 Be good to know exactly how those work). Instead you get a Quick Start Guide which is literally a black and white, one-sided, copy printed on standard office A4 paper. Classy. It does come with all accessories, but again, refurbished so the accessories are all used. That includes the extra felt pads. In short, don't order if you don't want used headphones.
