The ibaby care m2s monitor is wonderful! I'm really impressed with it! The video is good and the night vision is awesome! It's a very cool monitor. The app is great. That's how you view the monitor. In the app you can view, listen, talk, record, take photos, and there's even so many different songs you can play! I tried it all with ease! The temp and humidity is on the feed as well which is cool. It's not wireless, you have to have it plugged into the power cord for it to work. Easily can unplug it to turn the camera off. I love the alerts of movement and sound. I really wish I had this sooner! I definitely recommend!
This baby monitor is amazing. I cant tell you how easy to install this was and I was up an running on the app in less than 5 minutes. The camera allows you to listen, talk, play music and record video. I have to admit its been amazing with our dogs during the day when we aren't home. I am able to check on them and talk to them if necessary. This is a great product that I highly recommend.
The iBaby Care M2S wi-fi baby monitor camera is amazing. It comes with the camera (it's a circle), magnetic base, 2 attachments (wall or to attach to furniture), charger, and instructions. It is very easy to set it up. When you first receive it plug the charger to the outlet, and connect the charger to the camera. Download the ibaby care application. Connect your phone charger to the camera usb port and the other end to your phone. Create an account in the application with email and a password. The application will recognize the camera and you need to pair it with your wi-fi. Then you are all set to use it. You can have it alert you with movement and sound (low, medium, and high). I found that even in low for sound, it still picks up the smallest of noise. Since I use this camera for my older toddler room, I'm not interested so much on noise or movement so I put no alerts at all. I use it when I'm in the kitchen and can't see immediately what he is doing, or when dad is taking care of him and I am out of the house. It has a speaker (to speak to them), a microphone (to listen into the room), monitors temperature (can set an alert for high or low temps), and humidity alert. You can set it up to have alerts be video taped, take pictures, or just a notification alone. It allows you to record when you are watching the camera. There is different sounds/ tones that can be selected for alerts. It has so much music that you can play from pregnancy to about 6 years old. The music/sounds includez: lullabies, nature sounds, nursery songs, rhymes, and even books. I absolutely love it and think that it is the best one I have had so far (I have had 4 with 3 children).
I am so impressed with this baby monitor. It was so easy to set up. It required you to download their iBaby Care app for free, set up an account on the app, plug the monitor in to power adapter, connect the monitor to your phone through your phone's USB cable, click ALLOW on your phone when prompted, and then pretty much you are all done. I was pleasantly surprised that it was so simple. Once connected, I was able to play around with the different functions on the monitor. The highlights were being able to control and play music on the monitor through your phone, and being able to record videos on your phone. These two things brought my baby monitor experience to a whole different level. Some other functions that I also find useful include being able to listen and speak through the monitor, showing temperature and humidity levels, taking pictures, inviting other users. In terms of the quality of the image, it is quite sharp with color when light is lit and black and white for night-time vision. The design of the monitor itself is so sleek and modern looking. The stand/base is magnetic and keeps the monitor quite stable. Overall, nothing but great things to say about this monitor.
Upon opening up the package I noticed that the monitor was so sleek and stylish. I loved the size of it too. The package comes with everything needed to set the camera up right away and begin using it. It comes with a short set of very easy instructions. You can download the app for either iPhone or android and set it up on your network. From there you are ready to start using it. In the box comes the ac adapter plug to plug it into the wall, the instructions, the base it sits in which is magnetic, and then some mounting hardware (depending on how you need to use it). It can just sit by itself on a table or dresser or can be mounted to something. This unit has so many features worth noting. ie: The night vision to see in the dark, The usb in the back so you can save any video and the video is full HD, you can also upload it to a cloud, it plays 1000 songs and stories, you can give guests access but limit their settings for privacy, has motion and sound notifications, 2 way speaker, and temp and humidity alerts. This is especially great for getting work done around the house or in your office and still being able to have your baby in sight and right there on your phone!! I love it!!! I have never had one of these monitors and now I can not live without it. I completely recommend it to anyone.
My review on this is a bit briefer than I would like, because I was really excited to try this product. However, this device is not compatible with android devices. I tried first on my Note 9, but it did not work. I then went and tried it on an older Galaxy S7, just to see if maybe that would work, but still no luck. Even tried on a tablet, but it still didn't work. The instructions come with details on how to hook up the product to android phones, and we followed them to a tee, but nothing worked. This video monitor is just not android compatible. Unfortunately, we are android only in our home, so we had no iPhone to test it on. Other reviews seem to imply it works great on an iPhone, but we will never know. For what we could try, I love the design of it. It's very trendy. It has a magnetized outside so you can adjust it easily, and it rotates around like BB-8, which was kind of funny. It also came with a nice long charging cable, so you could put it wherever you needed it. Just wish it worked better on android.
This camera is pretty cool. You can video stream from the phone app, still image and video recordings also done through the app. Night vision is decent. Swipe to tilt is pretty cool. You can also play some soothing music from the app and have it playback from the camera speaker. To run this product you need some good Wi-Fi also. It did have some periods where it would stall a little too long. The only negative I didn't like about it was the connectivity sometimes during use.
This baby monitor is innovative and practical to use with your phone however I had a hard time trying to install it to am android phone (Samsung S9+) it kept giving me an error and only until we hooked it up with am iphone device it worked and was able to connect to android. The features however are very near the image quality is nice and you can control the audio , record a video or take a picture from the app it also reads and tells you the room temperature and humidity percentage. I would have give 5 stars if not for the installation issues that took me about an hour to figure it out.
The iBaby Care baby monitor is completely dependent on WiFi. There is a four second delay with the strongest connection. If you have spotty WiFi, do not even think about this product. The biggest negative for me is when it gets disconnected, it spins like it has a slow connection and doesn't tell you any detail. When I unplugged the unit from the wall, it still showed me my son sleeping, excellent connection, and the room temperature and humidity. It wasn't until I closed completely out of the app and reopened that it showed the spinning connection warning. So your child could be hurt or kidnapped and you would be waiting for it to reconnect. I very much dislike having to have the app open at all times in order to hear or see anything. It drains your battery and takes up a lot of space on your device unless you have a larger storage capacity. It does allow for multiple devices to be connected at once which is very nice. If you aren't in the app, you simply get a notification that there was a sound or motion detected. If you are sleeping, this is easy to ignore. It doesn't automatically open so you can see or hear what is happening. The ability to play music is a very nice feature. You can play your own songs or use sounds from the app. You can speak through the app. This could be very dangerous if it were to be hacked into and someone could be speaking to your child and you wouldn't even know. There are so many security concerns I have for this being WiFi and app based. Who knows where this could be streaming? I do like the device itself. It is a cool design and is magnetic to easily connect to the base when mounting. The concern with this part to me is that the cord to plug into the wall is very short so you are limited to where you can mount it. If you mount on crib, your older infant can easily take it off the base and get the cord wrapped around their neck. There is no zoom functionality with this device so you are unable to move the camera around to see anywhere but exactly where you have aimed. With the short cord, you are very limited and your kids move a lot so this makes them out of view easily. Overall, the idea is great for this product. In reality though, it is scary and dangerous.
After several attempts of trying to hook this thing up i cannot get it. On the box it states for ipod and iphone devices.i was immediately bummed Because i have android. So i opened the package and read the instructions. They have two different directions for ios and Android.but still wont work On my phone. Im now waiting for a response from the company on how to Hook this up. I need somethin easier. This set up is not for me.
