I got this computer for my son for Christmas to play all the games that he loves that are slow and lagging on his other computer. It was very easy to set up, took less than 5 minutes and he was playing with no problems. He was amazed by the speed and I was amazed at the price! You can't beat this system. Well worth every penny.
Best computer I ever bought. It is very fast. I play World of Warcraft on the Ultra without any lag. I also play Star Wars The Old Republic with the graphics on the highest setting without any lag. People have said in the reviews about the fans being too loud, but they are not that bad and the keep the computer very cool, blowing out only cool air. Another plus is Windows 7, because I hated Windows 8. If you are a Gamer then this is the one for you.
If you are looking for a gaming rig that you do not have to put together that can play most games at decent settings, then the WA550B is a steal. For the low price that Walmart is offering, this PC comes with everything you need right out of the box. Also, if you are a non-technical guys who does not have computer building expertise (guilty), then having a pre-built computer like this just makes sense. It comes standard with Windows 7 64bit which, in my opinion, is more intuitive than Windows 8. As an added bonus, there is not a lot of preloaded programs that you will never use on it as well. My only minor concerns, and they are more nit picky than anything, are that the fan is a little bit loud, the mouse and keyboard simply are good but not great, and the power supply is a little low for my liking. For a starter gaming computer, it works very well.
I bought this to replace my old HP desktop and couldn't be happier with the purchase. The space inside the tower as well as the extra slots for additional hardware and more computer fans is great. The top fan for the PC runs at full speed which causes a lot of noise. I just downloaded speed fan from a website I saw on a YouTube video and with a bit of modifying, that fixed the fan noise no problem. The light is in the front of the computer but nothing illuminates from the side. I'm ok with that. It's hard to see that when you actually place the tower where you want it. Graphics card is good and can imagine it works well with various games. I'm not much of a PC gamer but the 1TB hard drive is a plus. I dont have any plans on placing any upgrades in the computer due to it being great the way it is. In the description, it tells you what comes with the computer which only says the keyboard and mouse but you actually get the software for the graphics card as well as Windows 10 reinstallation disc. The tower is metal and fairly light in weight. The only thing I will probably do is get another monitor for the computer so I can have dual screens. Love that feature and will definitely utilize that later. This computer does not have built in WiFi so an adapter is needed or a ethernet cord long enough to reach your router. 25ft cable runs about $23 at target. Packaging was perfect. I ordered my computer Nov. 24th 2016, received my computer on the 30th of Nov. So delivery was good. The cover opens to access your disc drive but the look when it's closed adds to the overall design.
Great PC for gaming! Previously I had been playing Minecraft on my HP laptop, which did okay for a while, however experienced a lot of lag issues on servers I played on. Anyone shopping for a new PC, I highly recommend the iBuyPower WA550G Gaming Desktop PC because I can play with no problems. Awesome PC.
For beginner gamers it's great easy to learn and use super fast and runs some games at great settings . The pc is not to loud when running good mouse and keyboard looking into already upgrading it !
I had a very basic PC before, and I could barely play Warcraft even with upgrades. No problems at all with this one, and I can play with the higher settings now:)
Only had for a week runs perfect so far no problems at all. My only complant is i wish it came with antivirius software. Other then that it runs every 1st persen shooter i have flawlessly. Also is a very good looking tower and comes packaged very well.
I've had this pc for two week now. It's working perfectly fine. It's really good for beginners if you want to start YouTube. Been playing H1z1 a lot on it. Works great
My beef with this thing is the darned keyboard. The "c" button barely works on it. I have to press the darned key hard or multiple times to get it to work and that kinda bums me out. The monitor is alright so far. It has lights on the inside that light up and that makes it look cool. The keyboard and mouse also light up. It has at least eight USB slots, two or three are 3.0 and the rest are regular. Two of the slots are in the front at the bottom and the other six are in the back. It has two HDMI slots but only one of them works. The Windows 10 it came with works fine and I was able to run most of my old windows 7 programs and games on it which is fine. It has lots of ventilation so I have to cover it up when I shut it down to deter dust bunnies. My old AOC monitor works well with it so I ain't complaining. That dargone "c" button is lame but for the price it is what it is!
