[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this took a bit of effort, energy and patience to install, the end result absolutely made it worth it. We have an older mid-century modern home, built in 1960. I love the modern, sleek design this deadbolt offers, but the settling of our house made the alignment of this unit a challenge. With some adjusting, and readjusting, we were able to achieve proper alignment, allowing the deadbolt to lock completely. The instructions could be a little more detailed, particularly for those who may not be as technically-inclined. However, despite the few criticisms, we absolutely love this deadbolt. The automatic locking feature when leaving and the keypad to unlock the home are amazing, as I no longer have to dig around searching for keys in the bottom of my purse. In addition, setting up an account using the app was a breeze, and the app itself is simple and straightforward. Highly recommend this for those looking for an upgraded, sleek and simple system, who also have a bit of patience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Igloohome Smart Deadbolt on the side door to the garage which is not accessible through the house. To keep the contents of the garage secure, we always keep that door locked. So now we don't have to remember the keys to get in the garage to get tools or grab something out of the garage fridge! And the bonus feature is the sleek design. It is a simple, flat rectangle and not a bulky box with push buttons to enter a code. We also love the auto lock feature! It covers the times we would forget to lock the door or wonder if we did after we left the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this igloohome Deadbolt 2S Metal Grey and was amazed right from the beginning when I received the box and felt how heavy it was. I have a couple smart locks for my home already but none of them feel as heavy and solid as this one does! This deadbolt includes everything that is needed to be installed and used including physical keys and batteries. A few of the great features that my family really love with this smart deadbolt include : "Unique PIN Code Technology" This allows us to remotely grant access to anyone, anytime we want to without the other person needing to download and use an app. "Activity Logs" Give us immediate notifications whenever the deadbolt is unlocked via Bluetooth and we can also look back at previous activities. "Time Sensitive Access" allows us to choose from PIN codes or Bluetooth keys to grant permanent, duration, one time or recurring access to anyone we want at anytime. "It Works Offline" We do not have to worry about WiFi hacking or weak connectivity issues which is very helpful giving my family peace of mind. The other smart locks/deadbolts we have in our home do not work if WiFi is not working. "Keypad Security Lockout" If someone tries to enter the wrong PIN code several times the keypad is disabled. "Auto Relock" is great for us because we have children and if they ever forget to lock the door it will lock itself, no worries! "Masking Security Code" This feature would be especially great for someone living in an apartment building. Enter random digits before entering the actual PIN code and you will still get in and it would throw someone off that may be trying to watch you put your PIN code in. "Emergency Jumpstart" If there is ever a time that the batteries are drained completely you can use a 9V battery to jumpstart the lock.

This deadbolt is life altering, installation and setup is easy. Once the lock was installed I never had to worry about my children getting locked out of the house again when I wasn't around. The ability to work the lock without wifi is a bonus for extra security. When I go out of town its nice to give a neighbor the code knowing I can change it at any time gives an added piece of mind. Don't hold back if you were thinking of buying this lock set.

Aside from easy to use once you get the hang of it, my favorite feature is the fact that it works off-line. Gives me a peace of mind that I can't be hacked. It's gonna be so convenient when we have people come over to sit for our dogs or the house or get something That they might need and I can just unlock it with my app or give them the code. I can't say anything negative about it so far. We love it

It didn't come with much for instructions, but my husband is savvy with these things. He put it together for our side door for me to use in case I needed in, due to forgetting my keys. This deadbolt system has a few options: key, keypad and using an app to help unlock. When you close the door, it automatically locks the door. It is made with metal and made sturdy. It looks extremely sleek. We just installed it and already love it!

I will say I have a metal door and I chose NOT to drill a hole for the top screw. Even without that top screw it still seems very secure. The install was not hard. I do not like the sensor. I wish it would know the door was shut without it. They don't show the sensor in the product photos and I think it should be shown since it takes away from the sleek look of the lock. I am just a normal user so I don't need all the airbnb features so I can't comment on that. I do love that it can use physical keys. I wasn't sure where to even put a key, but it's under the circle (it's magnetic). As far as the lock, you just put your hand over the screen and the numbers light up. They are easy to see and put in the code. I like that I can give different codes to different people. It also keeps a log of all the activity. I set it to auto lock after 3 minutes (you can choose any amount of seconds up to 3 mins) Pros Really flat and sleek looking No wifi needed Has actual physical keys (comes with 5 keys too!) Cons Sensor looks weird to me No apple watch app to open with my watch
The install was a bit hard even with not having to drill holes in the door. I opted to not drill the single hole for the top screw and seems to be tight enough. Did have to cut the whole in the rubber gasket where the wire connects to the inside part of the lock a little bigger so it would lay flat. Also had to drill the hole a little deeper for the deadbolt where the deadbolt slides into, so it would extend all the way. Was a bit of a pain to install due to the very vague instructions and the videos aren't much better. After a little bit of trial and error I got it on and it seems to be working well. The app seems nice easy to add codes and share users through. They just need a better install video. We will see how it holds up against elements so far am pleased got it online on clearance for 69.99 would not pay the almost 120 they were asking for it in store. The store wouldn't price match the online clearance price so had to order for pickup same day from the same store. Dumb.
