I have had many bedside clocks but this one is my favorite. My favorite feature is the ambient rear lights that put out a nice glow at the rear of the clock. It also has a seperate intensity setting. Now I can find my phone at night without lighting up the room.. Can't beat 2 charging ports. Sleep timer & snooze are also features we needed. Haven't tried the bluetooth speaker yet but so far this clock meets my needs. Highly recommended!
I have a time/clock fetish, so my home is a collection of clocks, old and new. The iBT235 met my (high) expectations of iHome products in terms of it being solid, well designed and very functional. Moreover, it looks good on its spot (see attached). Better still, it replaced an old analog clock, so I no longer have to figure out what it means when Mickey Mouse's hands are on a clock face. For an old dude such as I, that's a big help.
I was very happy with this clock since the day I bought it. The color and design of the clock was very nice hence why I chose this clock. The features in this clock took me by surprise with 2 usb chargers, night light, backlit buttons, 2 alarm clocks and the back up battery. There is no doubt this alarm clock is worth the money from all of these great features, to the design of the alarm clock.
This is my second iHome Time Base Pro+. The first one's display malfunctioned, but the three simultaneous charging options in such a small device are fantastic, so I bought a replacement. Hopefully, this one will last. Also, the Bluetooth sound quality is outstanding for a clock.
At first I thought the iHome PowerClock would be perfect for my headboard. Play music before going to sleep, alarm clock for waking, and 2 USB ports for charging phones, not to mention the handy nightlight. Only one shortcoming, at least for me.. What to use as a music source? There is no built in tuner, and I don't want to leave my phone playing all night.... So then I thought the PowerClock would be perfect for my desk. I may not need the night light or alarms, but the speaker is crisp and the clock is useful, and I can always use a couple usb ports!. But finally I put the PowerClock on the corner table in our livingroom where we needed a time piece. I won't use the speaker, but one USB port powers the security camera, while the other charges my phone. And it fits in very nice. I am pleased.
I really like the design of this. It's compact and stylish. The fabric face looks great with my stuff. For something so small, the sound is pretty good. I really like the programmable snooze - I find that the default snooze on most alarms is either too short or too long. I love how the display is within the fabric, rather than being a separate window. There are two drawbacks for me, one simply annoying and one a dealbreaker. The annoying thing is the Bluetooth connection. For some reason, it returns to pairing mode when you disconnect your phone. Since it's in pairing mode, it then reconnects to your phone - even though you just intentionally disconnected it. The dealbreaker is the brightness of the display. Even on the lowest setting, it is way too bright at night. Like most people I assume, I keep my alarm on my bedside table. This is WAY too bright to do that. You can turn the display off, but then you lose the clock function. If not for this one issue, this would be my new alarm clock.
Having issues with set up of alarms
When I plugged in the iHome device, it lit up the time for a quick second and stopped working. After I unplugged it, smoke started coming out from the port I plugged it into to and it smelt like something was burning from the inside.
Can't download the home Avs app to set the time
