i just got this in the mail today...i LOVE it--sounds fantastic!!!! it's really loud and the bass is evident!!! buy this today!
I was looking for something that I could use with my mp3 for laying out and boating to avoid ear buds and listen to my music without running down the boat battery. It works great, the sound is pretty good, it gets loud enough and so far the 3 AAA batteries are doing great.
I wanted a small pair of external speakers for my laptop. I think they work wonderfully. They take three AAA batteries. They come with an on/off switch as well as - and + volume. They also have a nice little bag for them. I am very happy with the iLUV external speakers. Also the price is reasonable.
We've found the sound quality & construction to be very excellent considering the small size of the unit. The unit is extremely easy to operate with just 3 buttons, on/off, increase volume, and decrease volume. A built in hole allows for hanging the unit either around your neck or other object if you attach a cord or lanyard - which is not included.
I needed a speaker for listening to my Ipod audio books in the car and to carry around at home. Earphones were not the answer for certain situations. This little speaker is perfect for my Ipod. I've been using it for several weeks on the same batteries...easy to use...compact...good sound...love it...and the price was right.
I have only used this twice, the second time i had trouble getting the speaker to turn off I had to push the power burton about 20 times before it would turn off. I think some of the portable speakers that are only $10 probably work just as well. I regret not getting the other Iluv that was on sale for $10. Works with ipod touch.
This speaker was no better than the current on board netbook speaker. Not worth the money. Not a quality product. I returned it to the store the next day.
