I use this along with water to make coconut rice
Thicker than any other best taste not sweet or salty
Fantastic coconut milk at a wonderful price!! This coconut milk is just as good as the Thai Kitchen brand at a much better price point. The flavor is delicious and true coconut flavor. Not chock full of cheap chemicals and preservatives like some other brands and the can is almost half coconut cream which lets you know that this is top quality and filled with nutrition from the healthy fats. My go to coconut milk now and can also double as coconut cream. Highly recommend.
I love this brand, not expensive and tastes great!
Great for making coconut rice! Boil rice in the coconut milk with a little water and sugar added. I like this brand the best. It's cheaper and tastes better than the other brands.
This is great product, but NOT the first time that pick-up and delivery has given dented cans! Seems to be a pattern, I hope they are not INTENTIONALLY giving is scratch-n-dents...
I far prefer Golden Star brand but the Kearney, Nebraska, Walmart seldom has it on the shelf; they carried it for a long time. The ingredient list and quality of the Golden Star brand is far superior and close to the same price. PLEASE get it again! In the absence of Golden Star, I recommend this to a friend. But the Golden Star is the BEST!
When I opened the can it was a solid. NOT liquid. Have never seen this before with coconut milk. Not outdated either. Still had 2 years left on can so, something happened in the processing or how it was transported.
took me over an hour to chop up all the vegetables for my coconut milk shrimp curry and then I just open the can and dumped it right into the instant pot. unto my surprise the liquid was clear like water with some translucent goo at the top, which I assume was coconut oil. regardless, I pressed on and cooked it and it was the worst meal I have cooked in over a decade. do not buy in this coconut milk.
this is a great product for many recipes, but both cans in my order were dented and I can't safely use them.
